Only took half a day tear out and re-soil. Sod was laid in no time the following day. Very good crew of workers. Would recommend there services to anyone. Yard looks awesome now.

From start to finish GLC was an absolute pleasure to work with. Their initial design strategy was incredible, we did a bit of changing and tweaking of the plans and got everything how we wanted. Communication was top notch throughout the process and installation was a breeze and was above and beyond what I expected. They took every opportunity to go the extra mile even painstakingly trimming out all of the steps for that extra special custom look. The entire team was courteous, respectful, efficient and tidy. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience with them. I would highly recommend Eileen and the GLC team to everyone, I promise you will have nothing but a positive experience. I plan to use them again in the future.

This is a company that not only makes promises, but keeps them. The work they did for us is a piece of artwork. We could not believe that they could create something so stunning, but this surpasses all expectations. I challenge anyone to find a company this good, this diligent, this creative, this hard working, and this talented. It just doesn't exist. If you want it done right and done beyond your expectations, this is the company to go with. You just don't find this level of honesty and willingness to go the extra mile these days. Water from Stump pump and 5 gutters diverted by 2 french drains to close to the road in front of the house for the water to run into the gutters along the road. Plus sod laded all round the new addition after adding top soil to slop the water away from the house. Also made ready area for me to add a patio area. Put down top soil and seeded areas where pipes that was put under ground. Also note Gino came out and gave us an estimate in March. We decide within a week to hire them to do the job. But as it was too cold and wet to do the work until April. At the time we signed the contract we were asked to pay half of the cost at that time. HOWEVER Gino did not cash the check until work was under way. As he could not give a firm start date because weather. Gino and crew did a great job. Would highly recommend them!.

We couldn't be happier with the work performed by GLC! They installed a beautiful, brick patio with matching front walkways for us. The job was pretty complicated being our home/landscaping provided several different obstacles. Plus, we had requested many changes be made from what we originally asked for at the start of the process, resulting in a pretty large job. They had no issues with overcoming any obstacles and made all changes that I had requested. The job was done in a timely fashion, and unlike other landscaping companies the team was so easy to work with and very accommodating. The final result was absolutely beautiful! It exceeded all expectations. I HIGHLY recommend hiring GLC for any of your landscaping needs. I know I will be calling them again for future services.

Gino and his company are terrific! They arrived when they said they would, and came every day to our home until the job was completed. We had an excellent crew at our house...professional, knowledgeable, and super diligent to make sure everything was done precisely and correctly. Since our project was lengthy, Gino left his work trailers and equipment at our home; all the equipment was professionally labeled and well-kept. GLC is truly a family business....Gino's wife Eileen visited our project also to drop-off samples and deliver other needs to our yard. GLC's attention to detail is wonderful....they are responsive to questions, offer great suggestions, and really want the customer to be happy. GLC did not back away from the magnitude of our project....they took the challenge and truly made our backyard into a relaxing oasis. If you need a project done correctly and well....call GLC!

GLC exceeded all expectations for our new walk way, patio and porch. We had a different company come out last year and the work they did was not what we asked for, over budget and laid incorrectly and had countless flaws which caused us to call GLC to get the job done correctly. GLC ripped out the old job and had to completely replace what was done by former company ( as homeowners we should have not tried to save a few bucks by going with an unknown company and we should have checked out former jobs done before hiring.) we learned a huge lesson. The planning, communication, knowledge were far superior than the former company from start to finish. The walk walkway and patio, porch have actually exceeded my expectations. The crew led by Keith was punctual, friendly, on time, and professional. They left my yard in better shape than it was upon their arrival. I would highly recommend Gino and GLC to anyone. Thanks again GLC!!

They truly did a really over the top job. They were not the least expensive quote but I cannot tell you the difference in quality versus other contractors. In saying this they weren't over the top either.... However if you are looking for hack work with inferior products because you don't really care about your landscaping call another company. They use the best assets and actually have insurance and licensed contractors and they are the best I've used in over 30 years.

I've used them for a couple of years. It's a regular service that I have. They're excellent. They're very good and they're very professional. I never have to worry about whether they're going to show up or not. I'm very happy with them. They do a very nice job. They do my yard in the Spring and the Summer. I've had really bad experiences with other lawn care companies and they are much more professional and do a very good job. They're very quick and you don't have to worry about whether they're going to come out or not like some lawn care companies I've used, they don't tear anything up, and they're very professional. They only come if needed. If it's been like a dry spell and your grass hasn't grown that long, they don't come out and try to do it just to charge you. They will come out and evaluate and if they don't think you need it, they won't try to charge you for it. They clean everything up and they blow off the grass clippings, and I think they trim every other week. I appreciate that because they don't try to gouge you. I'm very happy with them. Overall, it's been one of the best companies I've ever used.

I had G.L.C. do a previous job at my home and was so pleased with the work that I called them again. My front yard was a mess and I really had no idea how to make it better. Gino came up with a plan and i loved it. They showed up on time and did a fantastic job. New plants, a rock border, and new sod, made a beautiful transformation. As an added bonus, Gino repainted my large wooden porch to match the new front yard. I love the results the second time I have hired them as much as the first.

Great! I submitted an estimate request on the company’s website, and heard back from them immediately to schedule a meeting. Gino came to my house to see what I wanted done, and sent me the estimate that night. When I submitted my signed proposal, I was told they were 6-8 weeks out on scheduling new jobs. About 6 weeks later they told me they were ready to start. The crew showed up each day when they said they would, and worked continuously throughout the day. We had some delays due to rain, which caused a muddy mess around my house and street,but they kept me informed of what was going on, and made sure to clean everything up. Once the weather permitted, the crew was back at work, and finished in a timely manner. My patio is beautiful. It is exactly what I wanted. Not only did GLC do a great job, which I appreciate, but they kept in touch with me every step of the way to let me know what was happening. I felt I could reach out to them with questions/concerns, to which they always promptly responded. I am very impressed with this company’s workmanship and customer service. Not only have I received several compliments on my beautiful patio, but comments from neighbors about how well they cleaned everything up. I would definitely hire them again, and highly recommend them for brick paver patio installation.

the patio took several days to fix and we caught a good break in the weather in late September. All the mulch, trees, and flowers all got put in place in a timely manner. Gino searched high and low for one particular tree for me and was happy he found one.

I met with Gino and he walked me through every inch of what would happen and when it would happen, and he delivered on those. When there was a delay because of something, I would get a sound reason why (rain) with a but, as in but we will come out tomorrow (Sunday) instead. He provided me with a brick paver patio. When I expressed concern over my sprinkler system being torn up because of his equipment, no problem. Someone will fix it and bill him directly. When I expressed concern over my sod not being put down soon enough for me. It will be there Thursday. Thursday it was there. This is truly an exceptional contractor. Thank You for my beautiful patio.

GLC removed 3 old hillside retaining walls and stairway which were falling over and replaced with 2 new walls and a curving staircase. Due to the tight location next to the patio and other obstacles in the yard, it was not possible to bring in motorized equipment. The entire project was a very labor intensive process. The crew had to dig out and remove the old bricks by hand as well as carry in the new bricks and stone. They had to dig out the drainage area behind the walls (which the old walls lacked) and a pipe to run my garden hose through to the bottom of the hill. Turning 3 layers into 2 required a lot of digging.
The owner, Gino, was responsive from the first contact to the last. He was here checking on the progress after hours when I got home from work. I wasn't quite sure about the color I had chosen once I saw it in bulk, but Gino assured me if I didn't like it he would change it. It was very obvious throughout the project that he wanted to ensure I was satisfied with my choices and quality of work being done. The project took about 4 days and the crew worked diligently throughout each day. Everyone was always encouraging and happy to go over what had been accomplished that day. When finished with the project, they crew cleaned everything up before leaving.
I give the highest praise to the crew for curving the steps. It was a challenge to get the curve right and they were determined to get it perfect. They difinately succeeded and it's been commented on by everyone. It's my favorite part. They took pride in their work and the time to do it right. I believe the wall will hold for many years.

We contacted Gino and in less than a week he was at our home to assess the job. He brought multiple books and samples and also set up times for us to see the work that he had done at previous customers homes. Once we finalized what we wanted we had an install date within 30 days. Gino contacted us the week before install and told us what to expect. Him and his crew showed up on time and ready to work. They had all there equipmnent and materials on the job site and they were at our home everyday until the job was completed. We even added on additional work and Gino made sure we were satisfied and the job was still completed in a timely manner. Gino and his crew were very professional and made sure we were involved in entire process. We would highly recommend him, and we have already hired him for a job in the spring.

I hired GLC back in 2012 to level my yard, lay sod and put rock around my sea wall which cost me around $6,000. I was impressed with their professionalism and pricing and decided to have him back to completely transform my back yard living space.
This was a massive undertaking. We decided that we wanted to go with a 850 sq ft raised patio to replace our old wooden deck. Right before the project started we decided to add another 18'x18' ground level pad and a 5'x5' fire pit. Gino, the owner of GLC came out multiple times to address any concerns and to help us decide on the layout before work even began.
The initial planning phase took several weeks because we had such a hard time making up our mind on the details. Throughout, Gino was very patient and really helped us nail it all down.
On the day work was to begin, a small army of guys showed up clad in GLC gear, in trucks and with equipment that was wrapped with GLC art work. This really adds to the professionalism and made me feel good out of the gate. They went straight to it and continued to work swiftly and effectively for the duration of the project. I work from home so I was able to oversee the entire project. I was constantly asking questions and watching the progress. Not once did I feel that my presence was a bother the team which also made me feel great about my choice to go with GLC. Every issue that came up was met immediately with a thought out and graceful solution. For example we had some obstacles around some footings next to my house. Gino came up with a brilliant solution of wrapping them with brick block which matches the fire place, this really put an exclamation point on the project. Gino, quoted the project at 10 days. They started right on time and after factoring out rain days they finished right on schedule.
After the work was done, I was so impressed that I hired GLC to landscape and light the project. The landscaping was the final touch on our back yard transition.
The best part about GLC is the post project work that was done. My yard was a wreck around the work site during the project. By the time they left you couldn't even tell that we had heavy machinery back there. They even sodded part of my neighbors yard that we had to use to gain access to my yard. We have had a few minor things that we wanted switched up since the completion and GLC has come back to address those with no charge to me. These guys really stand behind their work.
The transformation of my back yard was amazing. We have spent more time back there in the last several weeks than we had since we moved in in 2011.

My husband and I
decided that our old deck needed to be replaced. We went onto Angie?s List and made
appointments with several contractors in the fall of 2012. We have had much work done on our home:
bathroom and kitchen remodels, extensive landscaping projects?you name it! Often after getting project bids, we don?t
take the lowest bid but go with someone we feel will do the quality work we
expect.
Gino did not
disappoint! He started the EXACT day he
promised even though the weather was cold and miserable. His crew was at our home rain or shine! One night they stayed until 7:00 PM only
stopping when it got too dark to work.

Overall GLC Lawn Landscaping workmanship was excellent. Gino and his crew was quick and efficient.
We chose pavers he had not work previously with, he adapted well and did a great job.
