Finishing Touch Restoration

Brad was incredible. He did my home 7 years ago, and his work has held up beautifully. I totally thought I wrote him a review way back then, and realized today I had not. Thank you for your amazing work. You helped make my house a home.

Prompt arrival for estimate, fair price, quick appointment to do job. All floors leading to and around job covered as well as handrails and door knobs. Arrived to start job on time. Found areas that were not seen during estimate yet fixed same with no extra charge. Brad and his son went out of their way to do a quality job and smoothed out areas that were put in quite shabby 80 years ago. Clean up was more than expected. Would highly recommend this company and would definitely use again.

Brad was very thorough in his inspection of what needed to be done for the repair work. His quote was detailed and fair. He was able to start the work in short order and once he started he did everything thoroughly and professionally. He went beyond what other contractors would do for keeping the plaster dust contained. He covered everything and had a tarp even on the walkway to the back door. I am extremely happy with Brad's work and work ethic. He was a rare find! I have recommended him to the HDC in our town.

Brad was on-time and very easy to work with. He replaced a section of drywall that had water damage. We have a textured ceiling "knock down" style. He was able to blend it in very nicely to the existing ceiling. We would hire him again.

Second time I've had Brad do work at my house. I've been pleased both times. He's dependable and his prices are fair.

Brad did a fantastic job in all regards. He even repaired some areas that another plasterer had "repaired" several years ago. This was a lot of work! The house is 88 years old and my walls look new. I can't tell where the holes were or where the patches are. I was afraid to hire this work done because I was afraid I wouldn't like the results based on a previous plasterer. After reading the Angie's List reviews on Brad's previous jobs, I decided to go for it. So glad I did!

Brad did a great job. He painted every room, ceiling and closet in our home, 2300 square ft. In 5 days he even did some drywall repair. Great job! Dr

This review is way overdue.  We had a leak in our bathroom that destroyed our kitchen ceiling.  We had Finishing touch come out and he explained what needed to be done by us and him and then he refinished our tub.  Long story short, we had to have the tile tore out and replaced along with the green board behind it.  To date, the leak has been fixed and our 90 year old bath tub looks like it is brand new.  I would highly recommend Finishing Touch to anyone who needs a bath tub restored.

He first came out to inspect our ceiling problem in order to provide us with an accurate quote. He suggested various levels of repair, each increasing in comprehensiveness, quality, and cost. By having a few different strategies to choose from, we were able to request a repair that satisfied both our expectations for duration and quality, as well as our budgetary needs. Brad delivered on his every word and was punctual. He completed the job in one day.

He did a excellent job of patching where needed, you cannot even tell.  However, I did not like the job where the ceiling meets the walls.  There was some paint drippings on the floor that I did not notice till after, but I was able to clean it up.
he did however, push his religion and I told him I was Catholic and was not interested, that did not matter.  He even gave me a magazine to read.  He tried to convince me that his religion, which I believe was a born again christian.
He walked in my house and was overwhelmed when I told him what needed to be painted.  He does work alone and I realize he was very tired.  However, I did not have a deadline that he had to meet, so I wondered why  it appeared to be too much.  I thought that is what painters do.
He did have a church to do at the same time so I guess he was overwhelmed.

We originally contacted Brad to remove the popcorn finish to our vaulted, kitchen ceiling.  When he came for the estimate, he talked us out of removing it.  Brad pointed out the drywall had been poorly installed and by removing the popcorn, the walls would need extensive repair.  He suggested that we just paint the ceiling instead and we went with his recommendation. We are so glad we did!  It turned out the ceiling had been painted by the previous owners of our house, which would have made the job of popcorn removal a large, expensive project.  The fresh paint brightened the room and makes it look like new construction.
Brad's work is meticulous and by far, the best painter we have met. He is very conscientious, shows up on time, cleans up the work area, and prices his jobs fairly.   Brad is a true professional and we will hire him again in the future.

Brad said it would take 4 days to complete the job, it took 3 days. Brad is the utmost professional and does wonderful work. He  helped me with the colors, treated my house like his own. He was always on time and was very careful to make sure our furniture, floors, etc were covered at all times. We told him when he came to give us the estimate that we are very picky and what we expected and he exceeded our expectations.
We got 4 estimates and Brad was the most reasonable and I am so glad we went with him. Brad has an eye for detail and the outcome shows it. He always gave me his professional opinion and I listened to him and I am glad I did. We are waiting on a second estimate from Brad to get the rest of the house painted. I highly, highly recommend Brad for all your painting needs.

Brad Danowski was very pleasant to work with. He was punctual, pleasant and did a great job. Clean-up was done .... as if he wasn't ever here. We were concerned how the paneling would look after painting; it looks great. Still rustic but much brighter and lighter. We would be happy to hire him again ....and we would recommend him highly.

Brad was very punctual, responsive and professional. He restored our beautiful home to its prior condition after we had water damage due to a drain pipe that broke. He was prompt in getting back to me when I called. He came out to the house when he said he would. He discussed what we wanted done and made suggestions that made the job come out better and saved us money. He had a very pleasant attitude and manner that had my wife and I very pleased to do business with him.
