Inspector did a great job, answered all my questions, gave an extremely detailed report with pictures and everything. I would use them again

Tom, the owner was reffered to me by my real estate agent. When he came out he was very nice. However, nice doesn't cut it when it comes to a home inspection. His dismissed several vital issues wrong with the house. We had leaking pipes in our bathroom walls, clogged plumbing. He dismissed the issue as the house not being used in a couple months. However, we had to take our bathroom to the studs and rebuild it from scratch costing us over $5,000 USD. He missed that fact that many of my heating units in my house did not function. He also missed the fact that in the basement we had a pipe that was tied with a pair of old underwear to keep it from leaking. Also, we had 3 different light fixtures that didn't and still don't have switches to turn them on. So places in our house we thought we would have light, we do not, just fixtures that do not function. Lastly, he said the damper on my chimney was tied open because it was gas. When actually the damper was completely broken and cost $300 USD to replace. I have only been in my house for 3 months and have already spent close to $10k on fixing things that were never caught. I could have negotiated the price of my home down or had things fixed prior to purchase. I would have been better off going with someone else or no inspection at all!
