Greg McClure Home Inspections
About us
I am the owner and sole inspector. A typical home inspection averages four hours. Reports are delivered same day in PDF format that include an average of 40 pictures. I am fully insured and certified through InterNACHI as well as the American Home Inspectors Training Institute. I perform inspections 7 days per week and accept payment in cash or check. Next day inspections are possible. My inspections are not time bound and I take the time to review the report on site with client. I also take the time to explain how systems operate within the home and will answer any questions you may have. This is very helpful for the first time home buyer.

When I called Greg McClure to discuss the items that were left off the report he wanted to see them for himself. We met the next day at the house. After showing him these OBVIOUS major issues, his only response was "I'm sorry, I didn't see them". I'm not sure how he didn't see them, my wife and our painter were able to see all the damage.
The only redeeming outcome of our meeting was that my payment for this "inspection" was that he refunded our fee.
I would not recommend him to anyone. He was not trained in any home building trade as stated on his own web page. He was a firefighter that did his own home improvements. Then probably completed the few hours of training to be called a home inspector. Save yourself the hassle and get a trade trained seasoned veteran of home building, not a retired firefighter that does home inspections as a hobby!
