Preferred Chrysler Dodge Jeep

The service technician listened for the noise, contended that he heard nothing and sent me on my way without any concern. I was upset that he never even attempted to locate the problem so I asked to speak to him personally. The service manager said that he was on lunch break so I left, completely unsatisfied and disgruntled. I reluctantly drove to the Preferred Chrysler dealership in Grand Haven on Robbins Road. They tore into the dashboard on 2/28/14 and had to keep the car for 6 days. There Jon Hoffman had to replace the housing air inlet. Also, the recirculating door was not sealing properly so they had to fix that as well. The service manager Stan at the Grand Haven Preferred Chrysler dealership at first refused to pay for a rental van for our family of 6. He was going to put us in a tiny Chrysler 200. I notified the service manager in Muskegon of my displeasure and he authorized us a van to rent while ours wash being repaired. On 3/5/14 we went to pick up our van. The heating system worked better but the rear defrost button started blinking as we opened up the doors. I returned to the dealership that following Monday and the technician had to recalibrate the door. Meanwhile our question as to why the air flow from the foot button blew out air from the defrost area at the same time never got answered. All Stan, the very rude service manager there said was that it did the same thing on the 2014 models. We noticed that our dashboard and steering wheel was badly nicked up by the rough mechanics at Preferred in Grand Haven. This past Friday 3/21/14 we returned to address this issue and Stan the service manager was extremely rude and defensive about his careless technicians. He didn't seem to care and blamed the damaged dashboard on the factory. This morning I contacted corporate 3/24/14 and at first she wanted me to go back to the Grand Haven dealership until she too was greeted by Stan's obstinance. The corporate office agent advised me to go to the Harold Ziegler dealership in Grandville tomorrow to perform a digital imaging on the dashboard for reimbursement from Chrysler. Stan, the service manager at the Grand Haven dealership is very rude and arrogant. His interpersonal skills, especially with women and minorities is terrible. As expected, they damaged our dashboard and refused responsibility. I will never set foot in either of these dealerships ever again as the customer service is awful.

They also have done some other accessory work for me. They are a great provider; the combination of using my facility to store my vehicle things goes above and beyond what a normal dealer does.

Parts and labor are expensive but their oil changes are real competitive. I think they are like $12.95. They are unbelievably competitive for oil changes. They are tops and I give them an A rating. I will use them again, they are good, good management, general manger, service reps and the whole operation is very good.
