Tom had it fixed OVERNIGHT! And it works like new! And it's old! In the past 3 years, I've taken it to two other repair places and waited one to two weeks, and was not happy with their work. Tom at Geeks Inc. is the "real deal" and I'm so grateful I found him.

Called them to let them know of the problem. Tom called back within 15 minutes and he corrected the problem off site. We have used them for years. We have two computers and my husband and I know just enough to get us in trouble. Tom is always there to correct our mistakes.

He had me download a program allowing him to control my computer by remote access . Then he downloaded other virus removal tools. When done, he left the remote access program on the computer. I deleted it the next day, when i noticed it was still there.
The computer seemed to be okay for a while, but started to have trouble again after a few .days. Geeks Inc had given a guarantee, but I did not go back to them to get the problem fixed again. I was bothered by the fact that he left a remote control program on the computer. I got the computer taken care of by local people

We scheduled a time and he called a few minutes before and he did everything remotely and without issue, went very smooth! He called at the end to update me on his findings and to see if I had any other concerns or questions.

Geeks called after I signed up for the Angie's deal [tune-ups only] and set up an Appt. to call back when I would be home and available to work with them one the phone and my computers. They called back exactly on time and, after discussing what I wanted done - which included two things not part of the tuneup - and then set to work. I had to download a program onto each computer and type in some passwords to allow them to control the machines. Once I did that, the geek took over each machine and worked on it for a fairly long time. [about 40 minutes for the laptop, about two hours in two separate session for the desktop which needed the extra work]. Between sessions, there was an interruption of about an hour, which was about the time he told me it would be when we disconnected.
Both computers work MUCH better now than they did before the work was performed, and the extra things I asked them to do to fix a printer problem and re-activate a long disused email program were successfully completed. I was charged for an extra hour's work beyond the tune-ups which were part of the Angie's deal which I felt was very fair.
Overall, extremely happy with the experience and would definitely use Geeks, Inc again.

I told them on the phone I wanted a clean up for my computer and laptop. I was quoted $99.00. When the tech got here, he asked me what I was expecting him to do? I thought he would have known from my service call. I was then told it was more per computer and said he would give me a discount, but the price was much higher than quoted. I had him work on only one computer and it still cost me $250.00. I'm sure there are other providers that can do the same work. I had used them before quite some time ago and thought they were very good. I would not use them again.

This was a very pleasant experience. Tom explained things to me step-by-step and kept me informed as he worked on my laptop. The whole time - about an hour - the laptop was on and I could see everything that he was doing. He was very polite, friendly and professional. I am nervous about allowing strangers access to my computer, but felt very safe with Tom and will definitely use his services again in the future.

The script error still remained due to an old version of Internet explorer, he offered to update it and also offered to install another browser, but it works as is so I declined.

He did a remote fix. He called first to let me know he was going on my computer and he let me know when he was done. He is always professional and personable. He has fixed my computer many times and I've never had a problem afterwards. It's a great company.

I scheduled a 1pm house-call on Wednesday and the technician called at noon saying he could arrive in 10 minutes if it worked in my schedule! So he showed up, introduced himself and handed me his card. He was very kind, well groomed, and even offered to take his shoes off. He was at my house for about an hour and was very knowledgeable. It was such a relief having my computer running smoothly again, well worth the time and price!
