Professional crew, cleaned up after the job. Would def use again..

Awesome job, showed up when he said he would, charged a fair price.  Finished the job quickly, safely and cleaned up the area when finished..  It was a difficult tree to remove, next to the road with a lot of traffic going by during the removal.  It was a very tall, old and thick tree.  He and his guys were great.  We will hire again if needed.

They did good work and the price was reasonable.

It went very well, They worked me in when they had an opening & did a great job.

We have a large silver maple tree in our yard that had branches protruding over power lines, the house roof, and into our neighbors yard.  It took some time to respond to our request to schedule the work.  This may have been due to emergency jobs as a result of storms in the area.  They trimmed back the larger branches I envisioned needing trimming and also a number of small ones based on their expertise.  They also trimmed a large Rose of Sharon bush as a bomus.  Curtis and Brian were very thorough and professional in their work.

They removed two large spruce that were near an electric line. |The supervisor is knowledgeable of current arboricultural practices. |They worked quickly & safely. They cleaned up everything. |The only downside was that they forgot to remove an extra stump from another little tree.

When I finally got them to respond which took numerous calls and emails, the guy showed up to determine the job requirements and said it would cost me an additional $50.00 because he does not make any money on the Angie list jobs. He schedule d the work for the Friday before Thanksgiving and I have never heard from him again. I did not pay any additional money so I am currently looking to make sure I am not being charged the $199.

I can't rate the service because I have never received a call back when I tried to schedule an appointment (I called several times with no call back). So far I am very disappointed; I wanted my trees trimmed before winter. Can you help???

We never received a return call from the owner. We left innumerable phone messages, trying to set up a date to view the job.

We live in a heavily wooded area and have used Preservation before.  Emerald Ash Borer killed 15 very tall ash trees; my husband took down many himself, but we had 5 that were potentially dangerous to either our home or our neighbors.  Tom called Preservation and Jeff called back and came out promptly to review the situation.  Three of the trees were definitely precarious and 2 of them could not be reached by the truck.
On Wednesday, the crew came out promptly at 9:00 a.m. and went to work.  They removed the trees closest to our home using the truck.  They dropped the tops and cleaned up the debris to a site that my Husband designated.  Through the day they proceeded to remove the 3 that were least dangerous, then they worked on the 2 that were the most problematic.
The tree to the north was leaning and caught up in another tree.  The crew climbed the tree and removed the top and then the larger limbs.  The crew reviewed their processes and determined the best way to proceed. They tied the tree to another tree, then he got down and was able to move the truck close to a limb that was caught in another tree.  When he cut the limb, it released the main portion of the tree and the whole tree came down.  Because he had tied it to another, they were able to control the direction of the fall.
From there they went to the north side with an even larger tree.  They followed the same procedure as above and were able to take that tree down safely as well.
Since then, the wind from Hurricane Sandy has been impacting Michigan; wind gusts today of 35 mph.  The possibility of those trees coming down on their own was high.
So, once again, Preservation was called, responded quickly, came out and safely removed the trees.  They cleaned up behind them, were very professional and charged a very fair price.  They are our go to people for anything related to tree removal, and because of our experience with them we have recommended them to our neighbors who have also used them.  You will not go wrong using this great firm!

Jeff returned my call the next day and came out to give me a quote.  He made some good suggestions on how to do the pruning and what branches were dead.  I gave him the okay to start on friday and he was here with his crew a few days later, as promised.  They were very efficient and cleaned up everything when they were done.  I was very satisfied with the price and the work performed.  Thanks for a good job, Jeff.

The entire job went great.  I hardly knew they were here.  Nice people to work with, quiet, respectful and kept busy.  The job lasted about five hours.  I am very pleased and would recommend Jeff to my family and friends.

What a rewarding experience! Seven guys showed up at 7:45 am and  2 of them immediately began cutting down trees. The others began setting up for trimming, cleaning up, shredding, hauling and anything else that they knew had to be done. It was amazing to see how they worked in tune with each other. Even more amazing was how quickly the trees were down and then cleaned up! Next began the process of trimming our HUGE, old maple trees and a monstrous pine tree. Three of the men climbed into the trees and in no time had them cleaned up and looking GREAT. Once again, the others hauled the branches and had everything cleaned up in no time.  Even raked where the chain saw left debris. Our yard looked better when they left than it had ever looked before! The workers were all professional, extremely friendly and courteous, and strived to give us what we wanted. They asked our opinion throughout the process. We would HIGHLY recommend  Preservation Tree Service to anyone who needs this kind of work done.

I obtained 3 bids to remove 4 dead ash trees that were close to my house.  They were inaccessible with a bucket truck, so each required climbing.  I chose Preservation Tree Service for their job estimate and their demeanor.  They arrived on time ready to work. My trees were taken down piece by piece with no damage to the yard or buildings.  Jeff and his crew were courteous and friendly with both my wife and I, yet were professional in both their actions and appearance.   They did everything I asked them to do, and they did it right;  I recommended them to two of my neighbors who have followed up and are using their services.  The next time I need this kind of service, I already know who to call.
