Rentz Remodeling and Contracting

I found Matt Rentz and his crew after our basement flooded in the summer of 2020. They handled the project quickly and professionally and did a great job. We had them hang drywall and new doors, as well as paint the entire basement. Every step of the way, he suggested little things that would improve the project for little or no additional money. For instance, we have a cat, and he suggested cutting a cat door into one wall so the cat could access his litter box in a closet and we wouldn't have to leave the door open. Matt even framed it with leftover window trim, so it looks finished and absolutely darling. While they worked in the basement, I could also tell they were having a lot of fun. Do you need a contractor who enjoys their job? Technically, no. But I know I do better work when I'm having a good time, surrounded by people I trust and can joke around with, and that's the vibe I got from the crew. Rather than rushing through the work, they were all having a good time together, enjoying the process. I've already recommended Rentz Remodeling and Contracting to a few friends, and would call them again in a second to tackle any additional work that comes up. Their prices are fair and they do a wonderful job, from start to cleanup.
