Chris and his crew are great! His estimate was 30% lower than that of the big company that appears on Angies List at the top. And Chris pointed out that my neighbors huge elm tree that's on the fence and overhangs most of my house and yard had a large branch that was broken off and just hanging on another branch. He also noticed several dead branches and recommended cutting this off and removing the broken-off branch. The guy from the other tree company had also looked up at the huge elm tree and said its in great shape. So he noticed neither the large branch that had broken off and was about to come down into my back yard nor the other dead branches. Or maybe he did and didn't say. In any case, I really appreciate Chris pointing this out to me. Had the branches removed in addition to the work that I had planned (removing three medium trees and several small weed treed all with stump grinding). I asked if I could keep the wood chips for mulching and got to keep all of them, its a huge pile that'll help a lot with weed control. Chris even did another special request of slicing some of the tree-trunks into 1-inch slices which I'll put on the ground and use as stepping stones and for my toddlers to play with walking or hopping from one to another. Chris also arranged the remaining tree trunks around a pile of dirt that I'll use as a sand box and for the boys to sit and balance on the trunks. Chris and his crew did an awesome job on everything and went above and beyond! Will hire them again in the near future to remove several huge trees at a couple of my rental properties.

Excellent! Chris and his team are very professional and hard working and great to deal with! I was outside cleaning the gutters while they were working so I got to witness their teamwork first hand. They're like a band of brothers whom seem to really enjoy what they do. The results are fantastic! This is at least the second time we hired them. Can't say enough good words about them! We scheduled with Chris to have the dead oak tree removed and unfortunately, storms came through and Chris had to take care of some emergency tree clean up, thus moving our job back a few days. Chris’s team were here promptly and took the tree down, cleaned up and removed the stump. We opted to save some money by cleaning up the wood chips after the stump was removed. A very good experience overall. I would certainly recommend this company to my friends and family for third tree removal needs.

Well enough. A little confusion about some of the clean up and the price, based on a neighbor hiring Live Oak and not leaving some of the clean up for us to do.

Did a excellent job of cleaning up after the trees were removed.

Went very well. Came as scheduled; obviously knew what they were doing; this was a large tree and they were careful not to cause damage to extensive gardens around the tree; did a thorough job of cleaning up all debris.

Great service. Chris, the owner has done this for a very long time and knows a lot about trees and their health. He was prompt and the crew was polite and friendly. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up afterward as well.

Trimmed up all the trees very high. Removed the trees and performed stump grinding. The equipment was equally impressive as was the number of crew members who worked on my yard. We needed to have a large dead pine tree removed and the stump ground. Live Oak Tree Company was excellent to deal with; good communication, prompt, and after the clean-up the yard actually looked better than before. We recommended them to our neighbors who need tree work done.

Very satisfied. The day they came and did the work went very well. The crew knew what they were doing, cleaned up beyond my expectations and made sure we were satisfied with their work before we paid and they left. I plan to use them again next year for a couple more trees.

Chris is very responsive and came out the next day after we spoke on the phone. He provided a fair price for removal of two mature/dying trees in my yard and I agreed to have the work done. Chris contacted me the following week - as agreed - and arrived the next day to do the work. The work was done professionally and his crew did a good job cleaning up and not damaging either my house, my neighbor's house or any other property.

They trimmed a tree in front of my house to get it away from the house and provide at least 15' of clearance underneath, They were awesome and did all the work while I was at work. I have handed out many of their business cards and my neighbors have commented on how nice a job they did and how professional they were!
