Debralee D.
Mar 2013
It initially started well, until he got halfway through the day and apparently was searching under my bed and found my husbands gun.
He wanted to take it with him as a piece of collateral to make sure he got paid. Who in their right mind would loan out a firearm to someone they don't know, the term idiot comes to mind.
I found the Drywall Dr online. I had him come to my home for an estimate of $450. A few weeks later he came to do the work. He began to do the work and halfway through the day he changed the price of the job an additional $100. I was like ok, then he told me he found my husbands gun under my bed and he wanted to take it as collateral until the job was finished. Why a drywaller was under my bed I do not know. He left for the day and came back the next 2.5 hours late. Halfway through that days work he wanted the rest of his money, when I told him I was deducting a small amount for damage he went ballistic. At that point I wanted him out of my house and he said he was going to take his drywall with him (his job was to touch up errors that had been done, so it wasn't a lot of work he did). Greg McWherter took out his drywall spade and slashed all my walls. Rather than talking to me and finding out the solution to his issue, I still don't know what it was, he defaced the interior of my walls. His personality became very volatile and I would not recommend him in anyone's home or workspace. Please use caution using him, he has a FB page and is on CL offering his services with a barter offer to entice people to utilize his so-called talent.
With how he left my house, I was very worried he would come back to my home and do more damage. With his type of personality its a possibility. So to all of you out there, please be careful! Get a contract, get a strong referral and be all means do not pay till you get your service you paid for.
