About us
James S. Jacobs Architects, PLLC was established in 2007 as the successor to Donald A. Johnson Architects. Johnson Architects began practicing architecture in southeast Michigan in 1980 and established a well respected firm with a wide range of clients from public schools, civic projects, retail and banking, industrial, private developers, religious, public housing, and private residences. In 1992, Jim Jacobs joined the firm and began his architectural career. The dedication to clients and excellence in design and quality control measures established since 1980 are still in place today.
