1970's sewing machine of my step mom's had seized up and didn't
operate. She purchased a new one, but didn't like the way it worked as
well as her old one. I offered to repair the old one for her and took
it to Mill Valley Sewing in Milford. It took about a week to repair and
my step mom couldn't be happier with the way it works.

I dropped the machine off on Monday afternoon, explaining that it wasn't winding bobbins, and that it also needed to be cleaned and oiled. Max called me Tuesday (mid-day) and said it would cost $59.95 and should be ready on Weds. So Weds., around noon, I picked it up. I took it home, fired it up and it's working perfectly again - winding bobbins and otherwise running very smoothly. I am a very satisfied customer! The estimate of cost and work time were spot on, no surprises. Max was pleasant to deal with. I will happily go back should I ever need any more sewing machine repairs, and will go there the next time I need a new vacuum.
