Tension line that pulls door up and down snapped due to corrosion. Door was stuck in place, due to lack of tension on the snapped side. Couldn't even manually close the door. We were about to leave town for several days. Left emergency message on Door Dr voice mail on Sunday evening. Got call back at 7.30 a.m. Technician arrived about 9 am, and the line was replaced (along with two additional unrelated problems the technician discovered) in less than an hour. Danny was personable, knowledgable and very helpful -- including pointing out some additional places for me to lube regularly that I hadn't been doing. Great job!

I contacted Door Doctor about a garage door that had gone off its tracks. Also, haha, by car was trapped in that garage. The door was beyond the point of reliable repair, unfortunately. Door Doctor did offer to repair the door if I wished, though they recommended against it. Most importantly, they got my car out of the garage. They provided a pretty competitive quote for a replacement door. I ended up working with another company for that work, but I greatly appreciated their professionalism and practical advice as I called around for bids.

The service went great. I called, and within a day or two had a visit for the estimate. We were able to schedule the service for the following week. The guys who came to do the service were prompt, thorough, and did a great job all the way through. Everyone involved was helpful, friendly, and professional. They answered all of my questions and even gave some advice to keep it working.

DOOR DOCTOR SERVICES INC installed a new garage door opener for us on our 10 foot door. The price of the installation, opener, and extra materials I felt was fair due to the taller door and needed extra rail length. Their employee was 20 min early due to finishing up his prior job sooner than expected. He also notified me by phone that he was ahead of schedule and can be there 15-30 early if it worked into my schedule. The employee explained many details to me about the doors and springs we currently have and the excellent condition they're currently in. There we no sales pitches for this, that, and the other thing whatsoever. I would definitely use DOOR DOCTOR SERVICES again in the future.

There are no details on my end. Basically how I see it is that I called in the morning and it was fixed when I got home. I can't tell you how valuable having a company take care of business without hesitation and so promptly. When the door goes out, I know who I am calling. Great service.

I met the and quot;DOOR DOCTOR and quot;at the NOVI Home Show. I needed some very old garage doors looked at for a cottage we recently purchased. They quoted me a price of $89 to look at the doors and do a tuneup. Mike came out to service the doors. He called before he arrived to make sure that I still wanted him out there. He arrived promptly and took a look at the doors. He knew quickly what needed to be done to get the doors functioning better. It took him approximately 30 minutes to do the work. He lubricated the doors and adjusted the garage door openers. I did ask about new doors and he gave me a price estimate, but there was no pressure to make a purchase. Overall, quite happy with the service.

The Door Doctor guys were prompt,speedy and charged a fair price. They did a couple of adjustments on the door as well (no charge) and it has never opened and closed so quietly.

I have had a number of issues with my garage door and prior to door doctors visit it was not working at all. I called on a thursday morning and they came out the next morning and fixed the problem. Excellent job and I would certainly use them again.

Delivery was on time. Had originally ordered installation but decided to self install and they were very agreeable.

I have a very old carriage house that has been turned into a garage with 2 garage doors by previous owners. The garage doors that came with the garage when I bought my home not installed correctly and subsequently cracked. Door doctor removed the old doors and the incorrectly installed rails. Then he reinstalled the rails correctly along with all the new products I mentioned above: doors, garage door openers, switches, wall plates. He also programmed the 2 remote control devices. When the installation was completed, the installer cleaned up. He took the old doors and garage openers with him. He cut up the boxes and neatly stacked them in my garage so that I could could put out for recycling the following week. I was very satisfied with the work and would recommend the Door Doctor company to others.

Went very well, on time and he gave us hinds on maintaining the door. As I stated above he also reprogrammed the items I was having trouble with. I would highly recommend the Door Doctor.
