knowledgeable, friendly, thorough. They took care to guard any wood that the hoses might rub against and put drop cloths on the floor to keep it clean and they cleaned up before they left. They showed up on time and for a disasterous mess, they finished within the time slot of 3 hours. They quoted us $300 not knowing how dirty the ducts were and stuck to that price even though it was extra work.

They were very prompt, polite and knowledgeable. I would have liked to see the little "booties" come out before I had to ask if he were going to use any. That alone would not discourage me from telling others about A-1.

They showed up on time and were very polite, however they left a large mess behind. I'm also cuious why we spent almost $400 and they didn't even clean the cold air returns. There was dust and dirt all over our basement where there was none before and after they "cleaned" our chimney, and there were large chuncks of ash and soot all around our fireplace surround and tracked though the living room and laundry room. They were here 3.5 hours, but didn't have time to clean up after themselves.

"Are you sure we did the cleaning, as I have no record of it, and we do not clean out chimneys, and the cold air returns are cleaned out on all of our jobs, does not sound at all like our company. You may want to check your invoice. But if you had call the office to inform us that there was any issue on a job we had done, we would have gladly resolved it the same day. Thank you."

There was one guy, but he did an excellent job and arrived early for the job. Needed the service due to allergies and immediately noticed that the symptoms were gone! Would definitely use A-1 again and have already recommended their service to others!
