Description of Work: We got a new hardwood floor installed. The work was started very promptly, but corners were cut and the final product looks like a job I could have done myself with no prior experience. There are large gaps near the wall that we asked to be fixed and were not. The nails used to nail the floorboard on the top step were very large and they tried to cover them, but you can clearly see where the nails are. One of the register covers went missing and we were told that it never existed - only to find it later in the pile torn up carpet. The new wood floor is not the same height as the bathroom floor and no transition was installed, even after we asked. It would have gone a lot smoother if when problems arose it was brought to our attention instead of us having to continually bring up things that needed to be fixed. We ended up paying the contractor without him ever fixing these issues in order to not have to deal with him anymore. I would definitely not recommend them unless you are looking for a job to be done quickly with low quality.

 + -1 moreIt went great. Glenn was fast in putting together a proposal after walking through the house with me to discuss the work. He laid out a great plan, and then proceeded to execute each step as he had told me, with no surprises. He had tradesmen and suppliers lined up so that he was able to do the carpentry work with no delays. He was able to finish the work 28 days after my closing, which left me a couple of days before the moving truck came. Glenn is professional, polite, and knows his stuff. He was able to make a number of suggestions that reduced the expense of the work. He used excellent subcontractors, and I am delighted with the outcome. I will use Glenn again, and in fact am cooking up some projects for the summer that will need his help.
Description of Work: Glenn remodeled my house before I moved in. He added a half bathroom, moved three doors, walled in a storeroom in the basement, and added a second handrail to my stairs.
