D & R FLOOR COVERING

What a night mare. We had D and R put vinyl and carpet flooring throughout our entire home. We were very specific with Don that if any floors were rotted from previous owners pet urine that we would pay for new wood. We were told that it was good enough and they just put baking soda on spots. We questioned them on this and we were assured no smells would be present. Within a month we could smell the urine again! Pulled back vinyl and black mold at door wall. Boards should have been replaced. I already have lung disease and this could be deadly. Also after removing old moldings and floor and new install, they never put new moldings up! I told Don (the owner) and he wants to charge us an additional 300 dollars! Now vinyl flooring is curling up on all edges! 3 years in and we are having to replace most of flooring again! Don had the opportunity to make things right but refused to address the problems without charging us more money. We will be using a tried and true company from downstate Villa flooring who has done all of our homes in the past. They said that they would even make the two hour drive to us!

The installers they sent were very nice and installed the flooring within a day. I still have this flooring in my Kitchen. I contacted them again in August of 2014. They loaned me a sample of the product I had in mind so I could look at it on our floor. I did not purchase from them at this time as I am still doing research into which product I want on the floor. Update: Because I discovered a beautiful wooden floor when we had the carpet removed I don't need to have D & R Floor Covering install a new floor.

The owner of the company came out to our home, listened to our needs, respected our budget and returned with carpet samples. We have 4 dogs and 2 cats, plus grandchildren running around our home so we needed sturdy floor covering. The owner made suggestions of carpeting that would hold up with our unique situation. We chose our carpet and it was ordered and in less than 2 weeks we had our carpet installed. The price was very competitive (actually it was a better carpet and less expensive than another quote). We would recommend D and R Floor Covering!
