They are very reliable and they did a good job.

Went great. They were on time, professional manner, made sure to clean up after themselves, installed in a reasonable amount of time, furnace looks and works great!

We had this put in 1/31/2015 approximately. and still waiting for it to get fixed as 5/27/15 wish we didn't pay them already what a mistake. So if you do business with them make sure everything is done as you want before you pay them because now we are just sitting and waiting for our parts so it can be fixed!! We are still waiting for our completed fireplace as of 8-14-15.

.t took a couple bad experiences for me to learn my lesson about this company.  The shut off installation was shoddy, for instance, the valves were installed half in and half out of the wall after the plumber ripped out damaged dry wall.  He left the job that way and after 3 dry wall installers told me how bad it was and asked why the plumber didn't install proper valves and a box to contain them, I called Brubakers back and they did come out to complete the job correctly.  They had also installed a new toilet for me during the first shut off job repair.  At the time, the installation seemed OK, but now the toilet rocks when you sit on it.  Regarding the heat system repair, the man was there for a long time and ended up replacing multiple parts.  It seemed like he tried to replace the most obvious likely culprit first, then more and more parts until he finally found the base problem.  I do not think he diagnosed the problem correctly at first and I ended up paying the bill for 2.5 hours of labor plus parts to the tune of $410!

All the work was professionally done and completed quickly.  The recommendation on the toilets was very good.  There was a misunderstanding on the finish of the sink and shower faucets and drain, which was remedied by Brubaker.  We had discussed both bright chrome and nickel in the showroom, and decided on the bright chrome with no written bid.  Brubaker installed the nickel, and offerred to make it right when we complained, either to charge us for the bright chrome which was cheaper or re-install. We chose to re-install, but it shows they're willing to work for customer satisfaction. We've used them for emergency plumbing for years, so did not bid out this upgrade job as we trust them.  Our only complaint is they cost a bit more than the competition, but it's worth it for the higher quality work.

Everything went well. We have used Brubaker's for all our plumbing, heating and A/C needs! They serviced our furnace last fall and also replaced a failed sump pump on a Saturday morning last year. Mike has been great every time he has been here. We will continue to use this company in the future as we have had great experiences with them. Thanks Mike!

Unfortunately I have to write about another substandard service by Brubakers.  Last year during the time I had installed non functional fireplaces from Brubakers they had subsequently installed a water pump to drain my backyard during the spring flood of 2013.  Not a mere 10 months later the water pump does not work and the backyard is again flooded.  I am not surprised -- since the company I am dealing with.
I cannot stress enough the worthlessness and incompetence of this company and its staff including Justin Gilbert whom I directly dealt with numerous times.
You can clearly see the unprofessionalism of this company in its response to my previous post about $16,000 worth of non functional fireplaces.  If anyone is blacklisted in the community especially amongst high income earners it is Brubakers and I have and will continue to submit my opinion to those who approach me about plumbing and heating services within the community.  Your unprofessionalism is evident and a hallmark of your company.  Thank you for your comments -- they define your business well.  
I would recommend any other company aside from Brubakers.  I would be interested in writing an oped piece in the Midland News regarding this poor company.  Please contact me with your stories or bad experience as I would like to highlight them.

We replaced our two 20+ year old furnaces. Dennis took plenty of time to understand our concerns and answer questions. He gave us a fair proposal and didn't nickel and dime us for little changes or requests. They were able to schedule the job quickly and did it exactly as and when promised. The crew (Chad, Ron, Wes, and Ralph) was professional and courteous, and did a thorough, neat, and professional job. They were punctual, cleaned everything up, and made sure all was working before leaving. We've used Brubaker's for some jobs in the past, and have used others as well. We are very happy with the way this went and will definitely ask Brubaker's to do work for us again.

“Brubakers provided deficient services and products. Their customer service if horrendous and their attempts are simply to gouge their customers. Upon having a quote to perform work that was intended after the work was completed the quote was changed with additional 2,000 dollars. This was added according to Justin because of extra work -- this was inaccurate - if he paid any attention these were agreed upon before. I have reason to believe he is incompetent. This and quot;additionaland quot; charges were performed twice on two seperate quotes. It has been 1 year since the implementation of the fireplaces and they still dont work!!! In calling Justin he advised me that he would have to do a charged service call. When I called the office to speak to him today to complain he was uncertain to the service call? I have to say he is the most incompetent sales/service person I have ever dealt with. . I would never recommend this company for any of their services and there are plenty of other honest and better companies in the midland, saginaw area that would outpace Brubakers.”
