Angela Mira, Park Place Homes

I have a place in TN and work dictated I move back to the MI area.  As soon as I landed in the area, I started looking for a house.  I was looking for something very private I could shoot my guns yet under $80K.  I was litteraly floundering in my attempts to find the place for me.  I talked with a co-worker about my issues, and he told me about Angela Mira.  I contacted her with a list of my criteria and asked her if she could help me find a place to buy and she said she would.  From that moment on, I felt she was taking care of me.  Regular emails and phone calls on houses to look at and she always asked for my opinion on a house we looked at so she could refine the search and get exactly what I wanted.  When the perfect house presented itself, it was a for sale by owner house that had been on the market for less than a day.  She contacted me and said we needed to see this house ASAP.  I wanted the place before I even looked inside...haha.  When I told her this was it, we went to another location after viewing the house and put together a proposal right then.  She went back right away and presented the owner with my offer (full price...really wanted this place), and the owner accepted (of course).  Now the fun really began and this is where I very much feel fortunate that I had Angela on my team.  She gave me a list of inspectors for me to choose from.  The one I picked was really good and is also on Angies List (review written).  Angela also made sure that the owner was responsible for $500 of the repairs requried to be done by the lender.  The owner didn't spend any money on repairs so I got a $500 check at closing (need to increase attic insulation with this).  I was living in an appartment subsidized by my company and my time had run out so I went back to TN while my new home was closing....then VA starting throwing in a bunch of curve balls at me.  Angela made a personal call to VA to get specific information and one sticking point was my lender was saying that VA was requiring me to connect to the city water line at the road.  Angela learned that with a simple statement from me to VA, this could be waived.  She even wrote my statement for me and all I had to do was sign it and she took care of it from there....is that service or what!!  This saved me from spending $6K I didn't really need to fork over.  I don't know how many people have tried to deal with VA, but it's not always pleasent and can be down right frustrating, but Angela shielded me from all that and made it smooth from my end.  Lets face it, I wasn't looking to by a house for $300K so Angela wasn't going to make a bunch of money from this deal but you would have thought she was earning 10x for her efforts.  She constantly kept me informed on where things where and she flat held my hand and plowed a path for me.  She's the only agent I would recommend to others and I will be seeking her out if I'm looking to purchase more realestate down the road.
