BACKSTORY â Less than 4-months after purchasing our home, we started having septic issues. We were going through a different company, at the time, and they told us our drain-field was likely failing (but they didnâ t replace septic systems). So, I started calling around and setting up appointments for estimates (knowing NOTHING about what I was asking about). Rich came to our house and talked me through what was happening, what he wanted to do and WHY he wanted to do it this way (which was different than everyone elseâ s suggestions). Later, I messaged him back asking if he could meet with my husband to go over everything with him (but my husbands schedule can be hard to work around); Rich came back out THAT DAY! They were very reasonably priced (compared to the other estimates we were receiving), too. We hired Shankel Septic and, as soon as the weather allowed, Cory and his team started our job. I dealt mostly with Cory but the entire team was very understanding, nice, friendly, easily approachable, etc. I do not have a single thing negative to say about Shankel Septic or their staff!! They called me back the same day and worked around my schedule witch impressed me because I thought I would have to get someone to come to my home for them because I have many appointments and therapy. They were very pleasant and friendly on the phone and when they came out. Explained what had to be done and did it and the kid that was here was so friendly also. I would recommend them to anyone and we will call them next time we need septic help.

Shankel Septic Service is by far the best choice We could of made. My wife and I contacted 2 other places and their prices were much higer then what Shankel is doing the work for. Shankel is finding every way to save my wife and I money without sacrificing the quality of work or parts. We will be using them for a future project connecting to city water. I would recommend Shankel over any other place in the Midland Mi area.

These guys are great. I had hired another company to fix the problem and they couldnt figure it out. These guys were there a few minutes and had it figured out and fixed it. The Price they charge was very reasonable. I would use them again!

Make sure if you loan any of your tools to the work crew, you get them back before they leave !!!!!
