Plumbing Works LLC

This is a follow up to my recent previous post. I should have included it was a Power Vent natural gas water replacement to explain the higher cost for the unit installation. The same make and comparable size model water heater at Lowes was priced over $1000. I had 3 plumbing companies quote on the work, which was done at no cost. Plumbing Works - Rocky was the lowest bidder. One local (to me) company quoted $2900. Another larger firm from Lansing quoted about $250 more than Rocky. Both of those companies were going to put in the make and model they represented versus the current one. One company, Meridian stated they would give me a quote but it would cost $$$ for just doing it, I declined to do that

Rocky - Plumbing Works and his assistant arrived on schedule. They did an excellent job of installing the new water heater, removing the old one from the basement, and cleaned up the work very well. The work was finished ahead of their estimated time. Very positive people to have working on your house.

Even though the sink repair ended up being more work than he originally estimated, he stuck by his original quote. Moreover, Rocky is very professional in how he runs his business—returns calls, flexible with scheduling, and lets you know if he’s running late. Prices seem very reasonable. Very personable and easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Rocky and his assistant Mike completed a variety of plumbing projects at my home including replacement/installation of a new kitchen faucet, replacement.installation of a frost-free outdoor faucet, removal of an in-line/whole house water filter unit no longer needed, and the very tricky removal/replacement of a broken kitchen drain pipe which caused flooding in my finished basement. Rocky responded almost immediately to my call, sent Mike out to assess the situation, and an estimate was provided before work commenced five days later. Rocky/Mike arrived on time, were very happy to answer questions and discuss options, got right to work, and kept at it with minimal fuss and disruption until everything had been repaired and met both my and their expectations/approval. Estimate was honored in spite of the need to also replace/provide some unanticipated faucet supply lines. This was the first time I had used Plumbing Works. Found them initially on Thumbtack. Nice their located in Mason as I prefer to support local/family-owned businesses when I can. Couldn't have been more pleased. Highly recommend. Thank you. Good job, guys!

Rocky was on time and efficient. He moved his appointments around so I could have water (hot &cold) as soon as possible. All work was completed within 4 hours. I will definitely be contacting Plumbing Works for any future plumbing needs.
