Horrible!!!! After building a new home and installing prefinished flooring that started to peal I hired Charles Miller to lay new unfinished flooring and refinish it.... I should seen the red flags when he started trying to talk me into smaller boards or when he brought over some flooring that was not only the wrong size but also a light pine when I wanted a dark cherry finish. The job took weeks longer then I was told and is still not done. Hes since walked away from the job. A month into the job he admitted to me he messed up and used the wrong kind of sander leaving big gouges and hills over what should be straight even board. eventually he told me he wasn't going to do anything about it because he had too many other jobs lined up and he'd just take money off. needless to say I was very upset. I wanted to see if his discounted offer was valid in cost so I got three different estimates from other flooring installers to fix the problem and they all came within $5100 - $5400. He had offered me $1000 off. when I told him about the estimates he became very nasty and blamed me telling me "you dont want to pay me fine, I'll never step foot in that house again" the remaining amount that I owed him was under $2000 of the $9000 for job. beyond the horrible workmanship he also splattered stain on everything in my home. It was so bad my entire house had to be repainted, light switches door knobs and outlets had to be changed out for new. I had to reprogram and replace my garage door opener because he refuses to return it. This is a horrible 2 man company. Noone need to go through what I went through.
