Ground Control

It took a little while to get the project started, but once I got the call that they were available to schedule (it took a couple months) the job was done in two days. It seems that the back yard wasn't graded properly as the lawn was bumpy and some of the sod didn't take. This fall large sections of the lawn died and I now have a lot of dirt spots and mud. I cannot determine though if this was due to lack of proper grading, poor soil, or rough treatment by my dogs. They weren't allowed on the lawn for 6 weeks after installation. Of course, I had to have sod installed during one of the driest summers to date! I watered two times every day.

Mike does a good job of snow plowing. We have a flexible agreement - there's no set time for the drive to be plowed, so I've marked punctuality as N/A. He charges 'per-clearing', so we also agreed that he'll only plow if there is enough snow for it to be an issue for driving, so the drive remains snowy if it's only a dusting. We had discussed this first, so I'm sure if you'd like more aggressive clearing of snow you'd just have to discuss it with Mike.
