They had to take up the old carpeting and they had a professional, a real professional with them and they also came when they said they were going to come and finish when they said that they would, finish I was real pleased with the job.

Installation took a very short time and looks great.

Gary is extremely pleasant to work with. He is very patient, is happy to spend time with you, and is very knowledgeable. We first got into contact with him because he was recommended by the contractor finishing our basement. He listened to our preferences and came up with several alternate recommendations. He never tried to steer us to more expensive solutions, they were always alternatives that were within our budget and our constraints. For one product that we liked, when we voiced concern over the pricing, he found a similar product in the backroom with lower pricing (because they had bought a large quantity in advance and gotten a discount for it). I felt very comfortable working with him.
When it came to the bamboo flooring, we could never decide on which would be appropriate to our house. So he came to our house, and looking around immediately told us to eliminate the two that we were looking at, giving us exact reasons on why they would not go with our house setup (too much sun, and color combinations). Instead, he pointed us to another model (still in our price range) that we hadn't even considered. And indeed, that was the best fit! We ended up going with it and could not be any happier, it is a perfect fit for the house.
The installation team that came to the house was just as impressive as Gary. They were hard-working, friendly but professional folks. Showed a lot of attention to detail, to corners, borders, and to ensure that there was an even randomness to the patterns. They worked extremely hard to finish the job on time, did an excellent job of cleaning after themselves, and they would not leave before letting us see the work and make sure we were happy with it.
It's been a year now since we had the job done, and we have had a chance to extensively check on the quality of the work. We have no complaints about any part of the work they did.
I would not hesitate to go with them again for any future flooring work in the house.

Went very well. It was a reconstruction so we had to bring numerous tile samples home to match with existing (previous tile no longer available). Staff was very helpful and accomodating

Discount Carpet has been our carpet store since 1996. They have always provided quality merchandise and excellent service from their salespeople. This install team while installing the carpet well did damage some woodwork and left some areas messy. Due to the size of the job, there were multiple installations. Last install we found a left over piece of carpet and tools in the middle of our living room. They returned the next day looking for their tools. Discount made it right and replaced the woodwork.
Will definitely go back to Discount for our flooring needs.

Start to finish was everything I expected. There were no calls of bad news, or having to move a deadline. Just shoot straight with Gary or his sales people and they will shoot straight with you. I do know that they use contractors to perform installations, but I see that as a positive. One bad job and he probably wouldn't use them again. I believe in Gary's business model... he gets the ob done and done right without haggling over the small stuff.
THE TOTAL WORK THAT DISCOUNT CARPET WAREHOUSE AND SHOWROOM HAS COMPLETED FOR ME, COUNTING MY PERSONAL HOME AND MY COMMERCIAL PROPERTY WAS PROBABLY IN THE $22,000 RANGE. WORK THAT HE COMPLETED FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY, I REALLY HAVE NO WAY OF TELLING, BUT IT ADDS UP TO A LOT OF WORK.
I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROJECTS LATELY, BUT CAN ATTEST THAT GARY SLEE IS STILL DOING THE SAME QUALITY OF WORK FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
