John and Absolute Comfort are the best. I have used them for decades for all sorts of work: regular maintenance, repair, and installation of new furnace and A/C unit. John doesn't charge you for anything that isn't needed, gives you honest advice and service, and at reasonable prices. In an emergency John will get out to you right away. John runs his company the way companies should be run. I couldn't recommend anyone more highly.

On a referral from a friend, I called John to service my father's AC unit. I was calling from Chicago (my father lives in Lansing) and John was kind enough to inquire about his age (as the temps were 80(+), he determined that my father would need same-day service. He was able to check on the unit and resolve the issue within hours. He was incredibly professional, caring and responsive and even followed up with a phone call to let me know exactly what the problem had been. I highly recommend Absolute Comfort and will definitely call him again should my father's AC need servicing.

John came out immediately and fixed our problem, was great to work with and reasonably priced!

Tuesday evening, late, my husband and I realized my 92-year old mom's central air was out and my husband could not fix. Temperature was running in the 90's outside and we needed to get her air fixed right away. That night I found Absolute Comfort Heating & Cooling online through a site that sent me telephone numbers of companies within my area. The website also notified the various companies with my telephone number. Absolute Comfort Heating & Cooling contacted me immediately ... the same night but I missed the call. When I woke up the next morning there was another message on my phone. Tim, of Absolute Comfort Heating & Cooling, tried to reach me again at 7:30am, letting me know they were setting their schedule for the day (unfortunately, I missed the call again). But, I called back and Tim put me on the schedule for that morning when I told him my mom is 92-years old. He said it was going to be hot that day so he came right out. It took him a minute to figure out why her air conditioner stopped working. He had to leave to get the part she needed. He finished the job and now my mom has central air again. We thought we were going to have to purchase her a whole new unit but Tim fixed it with no problems. Praise God! On a side note: Tim was just a little late arriving but he called and let me know the company truck he was suppose to be driving was out; but, rather than hold me up he decided to drive his personal car and would be to work site shortly, and he was.

The last reason he was out here was for our routine fall furnace service check. As always he's thorough, only does what needs to be done, is punctual, professional, and easy to work with.

They did a great job and I would recommed him to anybody. He is very good, very straight forward. He is very honest. He is always here when we need him. It is a great company.
