TROPHY WOOD FLOORS

Horrible experience. The owner was very quick to respond before we paid him, once we gave him the deposit, he would not answer our calls. Since the rooms had carpet and no quarter round, we told Dan we would finish the quarter round trim. When they finished the job, the floors looked great, the day after the top coat dried, we had dry smudge areas in both rooms. We called and Dan came over. He “fixed” the problem. The next day after his work dried it looked worse than the dry spot, Swirl lines all over. We called Dan, he sent his employee over and the employee agreed it looked horrible. They did resend the rooms and put another top coat on. The floors looked great after that. After several days of waiting for the floors to cure, we finally where able to look at the job done. We started putting the quarter round in and when we got to an outside door, there is a half inch gap between the door and floor. We called dan and after 5 days finally answered his phone. He said our job was DONE! He was well aware of the gap and told us it was our job to fix that spot! He said he already had to lose $500 on re-sanding and another top coat and he wasn’t coming over to fix the half inch gap! We have now had to hire a carpenter to fix What Dan left us with! The carpenter was shocked Trophy wood floors left us with this issue! We will never use this company again and urge anyone else thinking of hiring Trophy Wood floors to Reconsider.

My wood floors are beautiful. They did an excellent job. They started on time and finished on time. Since I had almost the whole living space of my floors re-done we had to leave our house while the work was done. We were out of the house for 3 days. I left a key to my house with the owner and trusted him to see that my house was locked when they finished for the day. I would re-turn home to check on the house each day and everything was locked up. This was important to me since we trusted him with our house. I would recommend them 100%.

Bought an older (1940s) home with beautiful maple floors that were badly worn. Trophy came in and refinished the floors BEAUTIFULLY. Price was very good, work was done quickly and on time.
