|The $35 cost was for a friend's car that we took in for inspection to determine how much had to be spent to prepare for a sale or to keep it. The estimate was low and advised the single older lady to keep it. Plus, they were an hour late getting to it so they reduced the $60 fee to the $35 to compensate having to sit there. Ethical, fair and professional.

Appointment scheduled with reasonable lead time. Front office staff knowledgeable and friendly. They did a great job. It's not easy working on the older cars. The mechanic was terrific. Great attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. It took a little longer to get it back than estimated but that is normal with vehicle repairs, especially on older cars. I am very fussy with any work done to the Vette (do most myself) and these guys exceeded my expectations.

My kids car, a 2002 Ford Escort was having a problem with no heat. Maquette auto tore apart the dash and found a blockage of leaves was preventing the defroster/heater from sending warm air into cabin. The car has been fine since.
