Original bid $80,000. Ended up paying $140,000 which is $60,000 over original bid without any changes made. Would have been more, but we stopped construction. Dave was very unprofessional and would hang up on home owner when trying to solve problems. Ordered the lighting he chose without telling owner and expected owner to pay for it. Insallation in walls was not done properly. The windows in the living room leak. the shower sewer wasn't placed at proper level for water to drain. The floor level of the addition is different from the main level of the house. As time has passed we keep finding more problems. We continually need to hire new contractors to correct problems. The whole experience was a nightmare.

Excellent workmanship we love our new bookshelfs. Foreman was very good.

This is not the first time I used Casual Construciton and won't be the last. Dave is very courteous and returns all phone calls promptly which is somewhat unusual in that line of work for some reason. His lead carpenter did a fantastic job from start to finish. Clean up every day, made living with a remodel job as easy as it can be when your basement is half torn apart. We wanted a tongue and groove cedar on the walls, new ceiling, flooring, lighting and updated pl\imbing in bath. We are very pleased with the way the job turned out.
