Dr. Nyberg was very compassionate, spent a lot of time with us and was very available via phone for questions. She always got back to me that day that I called with questions. My wolfhound required several different medications and I felt that the vet looked for the most affordable treatment that would do the best job. She offered the option to get medicine on line if that would be cheaper. The diagnosis for my cat was difficult to come by and Dr. Nyberg worked hard to determine what was going on. I felt like she did necessary tests but proceeded cautiously with the least invasive and expensive tests first. I found her to be smart kind and patient. I never felt rushed in and out and that my animals were in good hands.

When we took him in he hadn't eaten, drank, urinated or had a bowel movement in 3 -4 days. His care started on a Saturday when he was given fluids and a shot to spark his appetite. We were instructed that if things hadn't changed by Monday to bring him back. Things did not change and we took him in early Monday morning. He was there until Wednesday afternoon. Dr. Hunt had to give him a steroid shot to kick-start his appetite after so long. Within a few days he was back to his old self, eating, drinking and doing his business. Bayshore asked that we call with a progress report on Friday which we did, then one of their tech's called about a week later to check on him. Being a regular client of Bayshore Veterinary Hospital, I was worried, but confident that our kitty was getting the best care possible, and I was right.
