My sun roof was stuck in the open position. The track was broken. I was charged $125 for 1 hr. of labor and $2.00 for tape to temporarily 'fix/seal' the roof. I was quoted $325 for a 'used' (from a junk yard) replacement, plus and additional 4 hours of labor at $125/hr. I found the track on-line (new) for $120. They offered to install it for me.
They suggested I buy a roll of tape for $22.00 until I could afford to get the track replaced. I declined the tape purchase. I'm looking for alternative installation options, but 4 hours of labor seems to be appropriate.
