On time and per the quote. There was an extra charge as our township required a pan to be installed under the tank.

We had to replace our furnace. Among the few that came to Quote, AAC was very good with explaining the details and providing different options. We went with the Lennox EL296E option. AAC came in during the mid-day, and despite the scheduling hiccups (not AAC's fault), they finished the majority of the replacement that day (we had heat by the end of that day). There was a duct that needed to be made, so they came back later that week to complete the job. P.S. We know that this is an overdue Review, but we still ask AAC for help! We used them for Water Heater replacement, and AC service beginning of this Summer. They are very easy people to work with!

Adam was right on time. I asked him to discuss and recommend best value course of action for the age and condition of my system. He was honest and didn't try to sell me any thing I didn't need. The system was recharged at a very reasonable cost and is now working just fine. Highest recommendation for AAC services.

It went well. It was a little hard to schedule, and I had to wait a month to get someone in, but the work was great.

Adams price was by far the lowest quote we received and warranty for labor is also a year longer which is why I hired AAC. The job took a little longer than expected but A/C works great and our electric bill has gone down considerably. Could have sealed the leaks in the new plenum a little better. They used seam sealer in a few areas. I used metal tape on all the seams where I felt air leakage and did it myself. Overall very satisfied.

Super cold outside. I called at 8, they scheduled me between 12-4 the same day. They showed up at 12:15. Super courteous, friendly, professional and they put up with my noisy beagles. I would so hire them again.

I called AAC to schedule a visit to diagnose our central air unit. I was familiar with Adam from a previous job and was able to get into Adam's schedule the following day. Adam showed up between the time slot quoted over the phone and started working immediately. He found the trouble to be a blown fuse in a separate panel that I was not aware of. He replaced both fuses and the system was back up and running in no time. Adam even did a quick check to make sure the system was functioning properly before leaving. The cost was very reasonable and Adam was very fast and efficient with his time. He is a true professional. About a week later I received a hand written thank you card in the mail from Adam thanking me for the business. I will be using AAC again and recommending the company to anyone looking for HVAC service.

I'm happy they came out, as it was pretty sticky last night and it was on short notice. This was at about 10:30 p.m. Adam was prompt and wasted no time getting to the diagnosis, which is appreciated. The emergency price seemed to be pretty normal -- $234 for the first 30 minutes. He replaced the capacitor and was gone in about 30 minutes. Charged $88 for capacitor. Although this is likely within the lines of a normal markup for this piece, I think it's a bit much. I reviewed the cost of about 70 35/5 440V capacitors online (to include from Lennox, Trane, Amana, Titan Pro, Carrier), and only three of them were over $30.

"We appreciate all reviews, good or bad. I'm very happy that you are satisfied with our service that evening. Thank you for the review. I would love to take a moment to ease your mind on the cost of the parts; we actually pay more for parts then what the average homeowner can get them for. I will explain, we have to pay our inventory person to keep track of inventory and order parts, we have a person who receives parts after being ordered, we have a person who keeps inventory on all vehicles so that part is there and available for you, the customer, when we show up to your home. Each one of those steps is an expense on our part, so you can see how the average cost would increase. And yes, we are guilty of making a profit on parts which ensures of it being available in the future."

I was impressed from the first telephone conversation.  I had an unknown leak in my a/c unit coming from the attic.  It caused water to drip down one of the vents.  Water was causing stains on my walls and ceiling.  The scheduler was friendly and understanding.  She couldn't schedule a same day appointment but she put me on the schedule for the first appointment in the morning.  She even volunteered to do the repair herself if she could.
The tech, Calvin, called around 8:30am to let me know that he would be at my home around 9am.  I described the issues and he got to work looking for the problem.  He inspected the unit in the attic.  Nothing appeared to be an issue with he a/c unit.  He decided to test the condenser unit.  The condensation drain line had slipped out of place and was draining down the ceiling vent to the first level.  He repaired the line and rerouted it out of the attic.  He suggested that I buy mold/mildew spray for the wet drywall.
I asked about their boiler service.  Calvin added a note on my receipt to have the the company call me in the fall for boiler cleaning and start-up service so I wouldn't have to remember.
I will ABSOLUTELY recommend AAC Services to my friends, family, or anyone in the Metro Detroit area.  Thank you.

The technician did a great job and very knowledgeable .   I would refer to someone else, but the cost for the repair was on the high end.

The receptionist (Melva...not sure about the spelling...sorry) was very nice and took care of my need for a service call quickly.  Sul came out right on time and diagnosed the problem promptly.  He worked efficiently and explained everything.  Sul cleaned the flame sensor as well.   Overall, he was making sure that everything related to cooling and heating was in good shape.  He literally went above and beyond the call of duty.  He let me know that we had interruptible service for A/C and asked me if I wish to have it removed to keep the unit running without the electric company disrupting the service.  We were not aware of that so asked him to remove it.  Sul also gave us a discount.  He is knowledgeable, professional, and courteous.  We were very happy with the service he provided for us.

The answering service for the company was having some glitches - resulted in some miscommunication, I thought I had confirmed the appointment, they didn't come when I was expection, because they apparently didn't get the message about the confirmation. Had to reschedule.  Not clear who's 'fault' it was, so OK, no big deal.
They came and did the inspection, everything basically checked out OK, but they told me the coils needed cleaning of grass/cobwebs etc., and that there would be a charge for that (About $40? I don't recall.)  I grumbled and paid it, but I would have thought that incidental work like that would be included in the fee- they are in there looking already, just blowing out coils is another $40- really? Almost any outdoor unit probably should have that cleaning done - should be included in the price.
But again, no tragedy --  instead of getting a really good deal, it was really just a pretty run-of-the-mill price...
Hence the kind of 'medium scores. They were perfectly professional and courteous, I just think there should not have been an additional charge.

Service was scheduled and performed quickly. The water heater seems to be high quality. The technicians were courteous and did a good job. So far I am happy with the new water heater.
One thing about the install, and the reason I did not give perfect quality, is the connection to the existing vent. I was researching and making sure the vent would be proper. Turns out the new heater had a larger diameter vent, and the tech was adapting from larger to smaller, which the internet said was a no-no. I asked him about it and he said  "it should be fine". (Alarm bells) I asked to make sure it was to code and the connection did not adapt from bigger to smaller. He made a proper connection and charged a small fee for the extra fabrication. I don't know what the proper thing to do code-wise would be, but the tech was able to make me happy about the connection and I am perfectly happy with the job.

He arrived early monday, avoiding the worst of the scorching heat and saving us another day in that weather. The repair was quick and simple, he also pointed out to us how to fix it ourselves if it happens again, so we can continue using our AC even if the condenser outlet is plugged.
