SOMERSET HARDWOOD FLOORS

They were hired to sand and stain/seal our kitchen floor. After the floor dried we saw the poor sanding job around the

cabinets and island. you could actually see the sanding marks which were much darker and looked very bad. There were also several sweat marks that were sealed over. We called them to fix the problem. They did return but this time the area that they fixed was a different color. When my wife questioned the color they insisted that it was the same and would darken in 2 to 3 months. Needless to say it has not darkened at all. We had 2 other companies come out to give us an opinion and they both said the color was very different and would never darken to the same color. They also seemed to be in a hurry and did not clean the floor before re-sealing and sealed over hair and dirt particles. It felt like sand paper in certain areas. You had to see it to appreciate the difference. We had to hire another company to redo the entire floor. I would never use this company again.

They did a good job on the floors and they look great.The only problem was with there starting time of 10 or 11am.

THIS WAS NOT A BAD EXPERIENCE. THE ONLY THING THAT I DID NOT LIKE WAS THE FACT THAT I HAD TO WAIT. THEY WORKED VERY SLOWLY. THEY EVENTUALLY GOT THE JOB DONE. IT LOOKS GOOD.
