Executive Electric

So we had two problems to resolve, one simple (a wall of outlets had stopped working) and one more complex (incorrect wiring to the circuit breaker). We'd contacted another company, and they were unable to resolve either of them, and suggested rewiring most of the house, at a cost of $6K (plus then hiring a plasterer to fix holes they'd punch in walls). Well, these guys came out, and were able to easily find and fix the broken outlets (a wire had worked loose in another outlet on the same circuit); and then they sent out a senior guy who was able to resolve the breaker issue in a low-key way; I ended up only paying a few hundred dollars, and felt like they really knew what they were doing. About the only negative is that they were bad at returning phone calls, and I had to call back repeatedly to set up the second appointment, but they did apologize for the phone tag, so not a big deal.

Of the 6 or so electrical companies I contacted and left messages for, Rusty from Executive Electric was the first to call me back (and he called me while he was on vacation!). He came out within a few days for an estimate and I scheduled the work to take place about a week later. The crew that came out was prompt and professional. They made sure that their work order was correct for the updates I wanted done in the different areas of the house. It only took them a couple of hours and they cleaned up after themselves nicely. I will absolutely use Executive Electric again in the future.

The team left a mess in my house and after multiple requests I cannot get a receipt and detailed invoice from the owner. He received payment promptly, then sent me an email saying 'paid, $1600'. My concern is that he won't do any repairs in future if need be because there's no invoice stating what work was done.

We were more than pleased with the work performed. Crew showed up in a timely manner and did a fast, professional job. They were very nice to my grandson and very pleasant to work with. Would recommend Executive Electric to everyone.

Monday morning while making coffee the coffee maker just stopped. My first thought was a circuit breaker, I checked them and nothing was tripped. I went to work with the thought of checking things better when I got home, but started searching online about possible causes. I began worrying about any potential for electrical fire and went home to look into it more. I decided it wasn't anything I could do and be sure of safety and it was done right so I came to Angie's list and searched on electrical repair near my home. Executive Electric was able to come out the next morning. They quickly determined I had an open neutral wire, located the loose wires,  professionally clamped them tight and covered them with the proper wire covers. They put my outlets back, did testing and everything was great. I felt very confident of their professionalism and knowledge in making my repair and will in the future be my only electrician I call when I need help or home improvements,

Shawn did good work!

This is a shame on ME story on the price.

There was only a 220v outlet behind the washing machine.  When Shawn arrived, I explained that I wanted to remove the 220 and replace with 110.  I realized that I hadn't asked for a price when I booked the visit, so I asked him before he started working.  He quoted a price (which I agreed to), spent time in the basement, came back up, and went out to his truck.  I went out and asked him if he was preparing the invoice because I wanted to request the senior discount identified on Angie's List..  Turns out he was on the phone.  Came back in a couple minutes later and said it would be an additional $80 to remove the 220 or $50 to disconnect the 220 and install a new 110. Seemed coincidental that I mentioned the 10% senior discount and then the price increased.  But I was tired that day, and tired of making repairs required to make a sale of the home.  So I didn't argue, just accepted the lower priced option.

At least I received the senior discount.  And, again, the work was solid.

 Mr. Parks was able to identify a potentially serious electrical problem I was having with interior wall wiring..   

He was able to replace 2 wall plugs in short order and avert a possible fire issue. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional I will certainly use Mr. Parks for any future electrical problems .

Great!  Marti came out the same day I called.  Did not expect that.  It took 2 visits for him to find the problem.  We had another electrician out before I called Executive Electric and they could not find the problem area.  I'm very pleased.

Went well, done in timely manner

The  two electricians who came to my house were completely professional.  They introduced themselves and shook my hand, were careful to wipe their feet on the mat before stepping on my carpet, and listened carefully to exactly what I needed done.  As we are getting ready to sell our house, we mostly just needed a lot of old dark outlets and switches replaced with white ones.  They told me exactly how much it would cost me, did not charge for the estimate, and once they'd given me a price, asked if I wanted them to do the work.  The only reason I marked "fair" instead of "excellent" for the price is that it's just a shock to spend $495 to have some outlets changed!  I know their price was at at least as good as, if not better, than anyone else's for the number of outlets and switches I needed changed.  They answered any questions I had, took care of all of the work efficiently, and were polite and friendly while they worked.  They cleaned up all of their materials when they were done.  I would definitely recommend Executive Electric to anyone needing electrical work done.

I called and spoke with Rusty after my basement flooded, resulting in my outlets being underwater. I had noticed some dimming with the lights of my whole house and became concerned that this was the cause.  Rusty rearranged his schedule to fit the call in.  When he arrived he was sure to tell me the cost of the service call right away and all associated fees.  Initially the call was to look for the cause of the dimming, but I threw other things in since they were here.  Executive Electric company was a breath of fresh air with the professionalism and honesty.  I feel relieved that the problem is not within the confines of my home, but this could have been an opportunity to be dishonest and easily take advantage of the situation. I would most definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.  Executive Electric, keep up the professional and honest work!

I was without electricity and found Executive Electric on Angie's List. An appointment was set up for late morning the following day, when I received a early morning call saying they could be over at 7am. Electricity was up and running around 9:30am. I could not be more impressed. Professional, efficient, clean and thorough, I would not hesitate to contact Executive Electric again.

The team was great - got the job done quickly, and even waited for me to run to the store to grab a decorative part we were missing.  They were very professional and the result was good. 

The only challenge we had was on the scheduling side - we called their receptionist multiple times, gave our info multiple times, and it took a while to nail down the date.  That day they weren't able to come b/c of other jobs getting backed up, but rescheduled for the next week.  This was the only challenge, but since it wasn't a time sensitive job it was OK.

Excellent-Marty and Rusty were fast and professional and even helped with an extra task that I wasn't charged for. Definitely a company to call back.

I reached out to Executive Electric on 3/17/14 regarding partial power in our rental property. The tenant stated lights were dimmer and at times flickering in just half of the home. Since this is a rental property, we needed to ensure the tenant was not left in the dark so acting fast was a priority. After spending a couple hours researching numerous electricians I knew without a doubt that Executive Electric was the company I could put my trust in getting the job done. I received a call back almost immediately and the technician even worked around the tenants schedule. It was wonderful not having to be given a window of expected arrival time. A thorough inspection of the circuit panel was completed with a detailed explanation of concerns. Shortly after, the technician examined the outside main meter and noted the main breaker needed to be replaced. After installing the new breaker the tenant had no problems. Excellent work.  Rusty called me back on a Saturday night, waled me through my problem, and came over to replace my service cable on a Sunday morning.  Rusty also worked directly with the manager to the cable installer company to settle the invoice.  I highly highly recommend Rusty for any and all electric work, scheduled or emergency.  Rusty was professional, friendly, knowledgable, and helped settle me down after being upset and concerned for the safety of my home.

He was prompt, professional, and courteous.  After the repair I asked for an estimate on upgrading my service.  He provided this and took the time to walk me through it.  The price was very reasonable.  Several times I suggested additional items as part of the upgrade and he would tell me that I did not need it and why.  This kept the cost on the estimate down.  I plan to use him for this upgrade.  He is not out to take advantage of you or sell you something you don't need.

I was very happy with both jobs, and yes I will call them again.

Rusty arrived at the time he said he would looked over what I wanted fixed gave me the price which I thought was within reason told him to go ahead and do the work. He had to go buy a part before he started but was back in about twenty minutes. Took care of all the things I wanted done. He was very personable, clean cut and friendly. Told me exactly what he would do. Cleaned up after work was done. I would recommend him to my family and friends. I am also going to have him back to do some other work.

Rusty, the owner, came out and inspected all the wiring I asked him to check in my basement.  His company answered the phone and scheduled my appointment quickly.  Rusty arrived early and was professional and courteous throughout his complete inspection of my basement.  I highly recommend Executive Electric.
