Dave arrived on time and replaced the 40 year-old faucet and valve with a newer, more sleek, one handled, version. Dan was very professional and takes pride in his work. These are the reasons that I have had him as my plumber for over three years. The new faucet worked fine at first, but then after each use, the bathtub valve started to drip progressively worse as each day passed. I called Delta, who told me that there should be no dripping beyond the first ten minutes after a shower or bath. (This has been my experience as well with the 40-year old plumbing, which only dripped when it needed a new washer.) They told me that it sounds like the cartridge was degraded and that they would send me a new one. I contacted Dave, and told him what was going on. He told me to let him know when the new cartridge was in and he would install it for me! (That took a load off my mind, as I am not a plumber, and I would have to buy a wrench needed to complete the removal and the replacement.) The Delta replacement arrived, but it was the wrong part; they sent me washers and seats, not the entire cartridge. I called Dave and told him. He came out within a day or two to replace the old cartridge -- with the correct one! A few weeks have passed and everything seems to be working fine now! No, dripping after the first few minutes of a bath or shower! The new faucet and valve really perk up the bathroom! Dave really knows how to deal with old plumbing, and he knows what he's doing! These two experiences proved that Dave is the plumber for me: 1. I called him a few years ago when I needed a lift pump installed in my basement. All other plumbers quoted a high price for the service, and they wanted to put the pump underneath the laundry tub. Dave was the only plumber, out of four, who realized that the laundry tub was too low to accommodate the lift pump, and that the pump would need to be installed in between the laundry tub and washing machine. 2. When I had a clogged bathtub, Dave knew what the problem was even before he got here - and he's not afraid to tackle old plumbing! Apparently, the other plumber, when replacing a bathtub drain and pipe in the basement did not extend the pcv piping and replace the galvanized elbow, but cut the new piping a bit before the elbow. This caused hair and gunk to form where the old and new piping met.
Description of Work: Replaced the bathtub faucet, valve and added a eustachian
