Ted Douglas & Sons Sewer and Drain

Not only did Douglas and Sons replace the old toilets, they picked up the new ones for me at Home Depot and brought them to our unit for installation. The work was performed flawlessly and at a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to contact Ted Douglas& Sons again for plumbing work.

We are new home owners and noticed a leak in one of the pipes in our basement on a Friday night.  It wasn't an emergency nor was it a huge leak but it concerned us and we knew it was something we needed to get fixed ASAP to avoid larger problems in the future.  We had no experience with any local plumbers (nor were any local ones listed on Angie's List) therefore we googled and went down the list.  Saturday morning we started at the top of the list that google gave us and tried calling every option.  Ted Douglas & Sons (Don Douglas) was the only (of about 5) plumber in Ludington to answer his phone.  Within an hour he was at our house, gave us an estimate and tightened a seal to temporarily fix the problem.  We scheduled Monday morning to fix the issue completely.  Monday at about 6 am he called stating that an emergency came up and he asked if we could re schedule.  This actually reassured us that had  it been our emergency he would have dropped other small projects to ensure we were taken care of.  We were happy to re schedule for Wednesday.  He gave us the time of 9-9:30 and he was here shortly after 9:30.  He left to get more parts and was back and finished with the project by 11:30.  He showed me exactly what he did (so I could relay the info back to my husband) and collected the 250 that he quoted us.  As this is our first experience with local plumbers I am not sure if this was a good price or not, however, I feel as if having the pipes replaced and having a piece of mind is worth every penny.  We were very happy with his work and will call him for any future plumbing needs.
