This contractor was very helpful through every stage of a difficult tear out and rebuild job for us. We had to rely upon their expertise to find and purchase a special fireplace furnace unit for our unusual structure and to contract work on the needed build out to accommodate the new unit. They were very understanding and supportive that we wanted to do a good deal of the work ourselves to keep costs low and worked with us every step of the way to help us keep costs low. They were even willing to give advice and direction when we weren't sure how to tackle certain aspects of the project and came out to do the work in stages around our tear out and rebuild. They also understood the urgency of our project as winter is quickly approaching and we needed to get the heat going to finish our project. Contractors who came out were friendly and professional and finished the work quickly. The price was fair and we enjoyed working with these folks.

Hankwitz did the initial installation of our furnace and heat pump 7 years ago. They have done annual inspections and maintenance ever since. Most importantly all of the technicians are very knowledgeable. They always arrive on time, which for me is also very important. They are most courteous and considerate taking care not to track in dirt or leave doors open. If there is any issue or problem they thoroughly explain it. We've been very happy with their guidance and recommendations, including the initial installation of the system for a new build. They worked with us to be sure we understood what was needed and why, to heat and cool our particular house. We've used a lot of heating and cooling services over the years and Hankwitz is one of the very best. Their employees are knowledgeable, efficient, and trustworthy and the company lives up to their good reputation.
