They sprayed the exterior with chemicals to reduce the presence of spiders. On the inside, they sprayed around the baseboards and at the apex of our vaulted ceiling for ants. For the vaulted ceiling, they rely on the homeowner to have a ladder that will reach [A prior service company would not treat the apex of the ceiling under any circumstance]. They told us what to expect in terms of finding dying bugs. When we found some live ones a few weeks later, they came and retreated the specific areas, problem solved. We actually have had them come out every Spring to get a jump on bugs coming out of hibernation (or whatever they do in the winter).
