Because our family had not used an electrician in Grand Rapids, I went to a Google search. Flat River Electric came up as the highest ranked electrician in the area. I can see why. John was ahead of schedule, explained to me what he was doing. He offered options for what we could do, but most importantly, he did not pressure us to go with anything. He will follow through next week to see what we decide.

I had a car charger installed by Mike from Flat River Electric. Mike and Heather both worked to accommodate my schedule, from doing a walk through after business hours to an early project start time to minimize time off of work. Mike was extremely friendly and professional during the process, and even remembered my home from a project he had done four years earlier. To install the new breaker and run the line, Mike went out of his way to avoid cutting into my ceiling. As a result, the room with the breaker panel looks exactly the same as it did before, and the project was finished under the quoted price. I couldn’t be happier with the work that Flat River Electric did. Everything was done on time, under budget, and looks great. This was my second time using Flat River Electric, and I won’t hesitate to call them if I need a third.

They responded to an email request (sent at 8pm) immediately. Came and fixed the problem first thing the next morning. I would definitely use them again.

Good experience.  We were even called wondering if they could bump up our appointment by a week because they had an opening on that particular day.  Electrician was very professional and willing to listen and work with us.  He did the work quickly and skillfully.  The cost was very reasonable.  My only criticism was that we were scheduled for 9-11 am and he didn't come till after 11:30 am and I had a meeting that day that I missed because of the delay (I was called by the secretary however at about 11 am and told that something was going on with the electricians truck).

Flat River was on time, reasonably priced and quality was good. Great technician who resolved the problem in short order.
