In October 2019 I selected Two Men and a Truck as a mover after receiving in person quotes from both them, and EZ Moving. EZ Moving took the time doing a detailed inventory of the property, taking about 30 minutes. The estimator from Two Men and Truck walked around quickly, maybe 15 minutes. EZ Moving quoted two moving trucks and teams of movers, Two Men and a Truck quoted one. Naturally, Two Men and a Truck produced a cheaper quote and we selected them. The problem is come moving day, it became obvious that they really should have rolled two trucks. The move ran over hours, behind schedule, and thus significantly over the high end of the quote. This was despite the fact we had moved some of our things ourselves the prior weekend. If anything, there was less stuff in the house compared to when the estimator came out. The movers that arrived did a great job. They worked hard, protected items appropriately and carefully, and did everything they could. Even after they went into overtime and were physically exhausted. My problem is I selected Two Men and a Truck based on a quote that had a range. Hard to say whether the lower quote was on purpose to get the bushiness or accidental. The actual cost exceeded the high end of the range significantly. In fact, it was very close to the quote from EZ Moving. I contacted Two Men and a Truck to resolve the matter hoping that would at least agree to split the overage with me. A manager said he would investigate, but after two weeks I've heard nothing. Follow up emails have been ignored. This isn't acceptable customer service. I'd caution anyone considering Two Men and Truck that the quote process is meaningless, as they aren't bound to it. The movers did a good job, but I'll make a different selection for my next move.

They did a marvelous job.  I am so pleased to have used them. They were stellar.

They starched a lot of my furniture and were sliding furniture outside. They charged a high amount for a small amount of goods. Then they asked for a tip at the end. They were not careful with my belonging.

10 years ago I was moved by Two men & a truck but now that the company is all franchises, the quality is "lousy". The movers were low-wage regular guys from the neighborhood who had no moving experience. Movers lacked energy, untechnical and were unable to move all of my furniture. Very disappointed in service. I wrote letter & spoke with manager, and no resolution.
