Scott Adams Residential Roofing

On March 8th a bad wind storm came through our area and ripped of some shingles. Scott Adams had done our roof a few years ago. I called and he patched it until weather permitted for repair. He stopped by last week and repaired it while I was at work. I got a note on the back of his business card they left in my front door. NO CHARGE! Kudos again! Always been top notch company.

They did a really fine job. We had a lot of storms and their were no issues with the work. They were down to earth and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

The sales rep was very professional, punctional, informative, and handled the discussions with the insurance adjusters. He explained the process thoroughly and we have experienced no issues. The workers were punctional, polite, and cleaned up the area as if nothing happened. In addition, my father who lives down the street had the same experience with Adam Scott and was pleased with the entire experience. I would recommend them and use them in the future for any roofing issues.

We have used Scott Adams in the past and once again his company has come through perfectly. I lived in Troy a few years back and used his services. We recently moved to Oakland Township. A big storm swept through the area recently and once again hail had damaged out roof beyond repair. Another smooth process helping us go through the insurance process and installation of new roof. Scott provided a timely estimate and examples. We were impressed with the questions he asked and suggestions he made. Scott Adams will be giving us a new roof the week of June 4, 2013.

Repairs went smoothly. Scott Adams had two crews working on the roofs in our association which sped up the completion time. Very professional and excellent workmanship. The project manager walked each roof after completion to make sure everything was done properly.

I liked them because their services were fast and they are awesome. The price they charged was very reasonable.

Last summer we had a bad storm through the Troy area. Some shingles blew off from the storm. A good friend of mine recommended Scotts Adams Company. I gave them a call and they sent out a salesman. He inspected the roof and found both wind and hail damage. The gentleman helped me through the insurance process, and I was surprised to find out the only out of pocket expense was the deductible. They were nothing but professional and did a great job on my roof.

They made a courteous visit last week to make sure there was no damage from the storm last week. I figured it was my obligation to join Angie's List and give them a great review.

Scott scheduled materials delivery as promised and we agreed on a start date. His crew showed up promptly that morning and did a great job protected the building and landscape from falling debris. It took 2 days to complete the work as promised, and Scott's crew were hard-working and conscientious. They did a wonderful job cleaning up debris and nails around the job site and I couldn't be happier with the way the roof looked when they were finished. And all at a great price!! Scott had 2 extra bundles of shingles left over and knocked $100 off the final price.

I called Scott Adams and he came out the same day to give me an estimate.Scott was friendly, honest, proffesional and effiecient and very competent. My experience with Scott was excellent. He quoted a fare price and did the job as soon as the weather was good,which was within a week. He kept me informed. Scott clearly cares about his company and performing an excellent job. He is proud of his work. He is local and his crew is excellent. One worker is with him 13 years the other 3 for 7 years. So if you hire Scott, you know that you will get the same outstanding job every time. The crew including Scott showed up on time at 6 am and were finished by 3 p.m. The roof looks beautiful. They cleaned everything up, not even one loose nail left. Scott works right with his crew. He is so honest, that when he realized that he needs one less vent than he thought, he gave me 20.00 credit. I thank Scott and his crew for such outstanding work. I just feel so lucky that I found Scott on Angie's list. I would just say, if you need a roof hire Scott, you will be extremely happy that you did. The entire process from the time Scott stepped in to the end of the job was seemless and perfect.

Scott gave me a detailed and professional estimate, He was prompt and followed up with my questions and pone calls. They started the job at 7:15 am and were done by 3pm. Protected the flowers and gardens and cleaned up everything. Noting left behind or any damage.

Using Angie's list I contacted 5 contractors, received estimates from three. This contractor provided most complete listing of work to be done. Price of $2967.50 was $1400 lower than highest bid. Provided same quality of materials. The only contractor to make insurance certificate available. Copy of license. The contract was signed April 01, 2009. work started and completed on April 15, 2009.

It took a week or two before they were able to come and do the work after the initial estimation. When they came at 8am in the morning, I had not yet gotten in from work. But was assured via the phone it was okay and they would be fine. I got home and at 8:40 and they already removed most of the roof from my garage. A couple hours later and they were done!! A much better experience than my house roof!! Goodness that was a terrible experience, I only wish I had used Angie's List and Adams Roofing with that project. Don't use family members friends for major projects. Do call a legitimate and licensed contractor with valid references.

I got three estimates for the repair to my roof. Scott's was significantly lower than the other two using the same grade and quality of materials. He was extremely polite and helpful in describing what I needed and why I would not need some other materials the other two companies had included in their estimates. Work was performed in a timely fashion and he recommended someone to clean and repair my gutters. I would recommend him highly.

The owner came out to do the estimate. I thought his price was reasonable for the amount of work that was to be performed. I usually go with the middle price and that is where he came in. He seemed very conscientious and professional. He gave me a few houses to look at with roofs with the color I wanted and he gave me a date and did show up both days on time. I was very happy with the work that was done. A week later we had a small leak near our sky light and called Scott back. He was out the next day to repair it and hopefully we won't have any more trouble with it. He also came out on the job to check to make sure it was going smoothly and they did a pretty good job after in cleaning up. I found a few nails and some debris in the bushes but all in all it was good. He was also licensed and insured which I think is important when hiring a contractor.

Scott Adams has replaced roofs on several houses in my sub. All of the owners have been satisfied with their work. I called for a quote on a Thursday. The owner himself came out to do the estimate the following day. There was no pressure from Scott during the estimate process. He measured the roof, went over the options, and gave me a fair quote. The work process itself went very well. The shingles were delivered on Friday and the crew showed up first thing on Monday to begin work. They worked straight through from 8am to about 6:30pm, tearing off the old shingles and putting on the new roof. The crew members were polite and worked hard all day. I work out of the house and, apart from the banging with hammers, etc., I was not disturbed all day. Scott came by in the pm to check on the job and to make sure I was satisfied with the work. Scott Adams was the lowest of several bids that I got for my roof. They provided a good, solid roof without any bells and whistles.

I could not be happier with job. Scott and crew were early and ready to work. The architectural shingles we picked out look great. Scott was very helpful with questions and concerns. His crew was polite and stayed on task for the entire time they were here. They did not damage gardens or lawn. The cleanup was very thorough.

He was so good, he just tripped over himself to make us happy. He explained everything to us while he was doing it. It's a beautiful roof and it just couldn't be nicer. He also beat everyone else on pricing.
