"[Member Name Removed], unfortunately due to Michigan's frigid winter weather we do not guarantee against hairline cracks such as yours, as stated in the contract that you signed. We received the letter from the State of Michigan that inspected your driveway, and no code violations were found. Had there been any violations we would have corrected the problem."

Upon realizing it was time to replace our worn out concrete drive way I contacted several of the contractors listed in the yellow pages without any degree of satisfaction. A few neighbors that recently had put in new driveways mentioned they were all very satisfied with the job results by Mike Iafrate Cement Co .I also noticed the the company was listed in Angies List. I contacted the company and spoke to John Iafrate who is owner and arranged that he inspect the job to be done and provide me with a written quotation. This meeting would address any concerns I had about materials to be used, possible damage to landscaping, or the sprinkler systems, as well as the important job of cleaning up.
John left me with a high level of confidence the job would be completed in a very professionally and meet the highest standards. The job was not started until October 7 which was caused by both of our busy.schedules.
John was on the job site working with and supervising his men.The expert way they demolishedand and removed the old concrete driveway with the aid of a front-end loader on to a dump truck was a work of art. Everyone knew what their job was and they got the job done very effectively. They started at 8:00 AM and finished the job about 3:00 PM.
hey were back 3 days later on 10/11 to cut stress reliefs. To allow the concrete to cure properly I sprayed water on it for the next few days. John had his men put out signs and roping to prevent persons from walking on the curing concrete.
John walked around with me to make sure nothing was damaged and the clean-up was to our satisfaction. IT WAS !!
THE MIKE IAFRATE CEMENT COMPANY WOULD BE MY RECOMMENDATION FOR SOME ONE NEEDING CEMENT WORK .!!
