It went really well. The guys were nice and they took care of my stuff. They had tools for removing doors and plenty of mats/blankets/tie downs to protect my fragile stuff. I would definitely hire them again.

They had a lot of limits on what you could claim as far as damages and what they could move. You have to pay for insurance, which I didn't like, and even if they did reimburse you for damages, it wouldn't cover the entire cost of the damage. Apart from that, they gave me all these restrictions on what they could/couldn't move. I had a basket with several unopened cleaning products that have never been used that they said were "hazardous materials" that they shouldn't be moving. If it had been closed in a box, they wouldn't have even known. They moved it for me, but still gave me that disclaimer and also lost my favorite cleaning brush. I also put a coffee pot in an open box that wasn't closed and they told me that they could move it, but if the coffee pot breaks, they would not pay for it. I was just puzzled by all of their requirements. I've used several moving companies over the years, and none of them were this difficult. Also, I had several pieces of white furniture that are now scratched. They used dolleys for all of my furniture and never wrapped any of the furniture, so now my bedframe, bedside tables, dresser, TV stand and desk are all nicked. I wouldn't recommend them for anyone who is moving furniture. They should stick to just moving boxes.

I never received any phone calls about these issues or we would've took care of them back in Feb. With the said I will have Mike give you a call today to send someone out to fix any of the furniture that may have been scratched during your move. if I don't know about an issue I certainly cant fix it. The only problem I had was one guy seem like he was stalling while the other was working continuously. The one guy wanted to talk my head off and was taking his sweet time so my 3hr moved turned into 4hrs and it was for that very reason. I say this because when we got to the other apartment they unloaded and put things back together fast. That's when I realized the other guy was b.s'ing. Other then that everything else went well. Ladies remember if no man is there with you don't let them start small talk with you, just speak be stern and keep it moving.

They were fast, professional, and nothing was damaged. Had a little extra room in the pod but they tied it down tight and nothing shifted. Found some heavy smaller boxes on top of lighter bigger ones which caused the tops to buckle a bit, but otherwise everything was fit in like Tetris, very efficient. Done within time frame and friendly guys. Would hire again.

Jesse and Joel were on time, fast, and friendly. While I asked them to move all the furniture into specific rooms of the new home, I asked them to just put all the boxes in the garage. That way, I have had plenty of living space inside the home and am slowly unpacking those boxes. With it being a busy time of year, it worked out great. Just putting the boxes in the garage made the job much faster. I asked for several estimates and Men On The Move had the lowest price. All estimates were just for moving the large furniture and the packed boxes. A different company named Morse Moving (affiliated with Allied) seemed to provide a comparable cost at first. However, that company required one of their employees, Chris S. to visit the home and confirm the estimate in person just a few days before the planned date for moving. When he arrived, he put on a show walking around the 3 bedroom apartment, frantically tapping information into his iPad, and printing out the estimate on the mobile printer he brought with him. His new estimate was over $1100, which was $400 more than the initial estimate on the phone. He said the move will require 3 men, instead of the 2 they said over the phone. I explained that when I moved into the apartment, another company used only 2 men to move the same amount of property the same distance for $500-$600. Chris said his estimate is based on his 20+ years of moving, and the calculations on tonnage from his iPad "which doesn't lie". He asked how long I have been living in the apartment. Even though it was just 2 years, he said I must have acquired a lot of property since I moved into the apartment. Not true. He double-downed and said his 20+ years of moving tells him there is no way only 2 men could do the move for $500-$600. Again not true. I used 2 companies to do that move for that price, and Men On The Move was one of them. Men On The Move was a great decision. I recommend hiring that company.

The guys (Rodney and Jesse) actually arrived early! They were very professional, quickly loaded up and everything arrived in perfect condition. We had never used professional movers before and were amazed at their speed---as compared to a bunch of friends and family helping out. We plan on using Men on the Move again when our daughter moves this summer.

They arrived on time. They checked with me for any special instructions or last minute changes. The guys were very courteous, and careful with my possessions. They dismantled my bed and the mirror from the dresser. They even hauled a couple of throwaway pieces to the dumpster for me. The trip to the storage site was uneventful and then we went to my new condo. Everything was unloaded to the area it went and was put exactly where I wanted it. They reassembled the bed and dresser and asked me to check if everything was OK and if there was anything else they could do.
There was no damage to anything they moved. The gentlemen Gary sent, were polite and enthusiastic about doing their job. I appreciated interacting with them as people. I had used Men on the Move approximately two years before, and six years before that. I would never use any moving company but them. I have in the past and will in the future, recommend Men on the Move to all my friends.

Everything was as promised. The two-man crew, Fred and Steve, were prompt, courteous, and very professional. They arrived on time, got right to work, and were done in under three hours, providing me with a great cost savings. They were friendly and funny, cracking jokes with me and each other. Everything was moved without any damage to either the furniture or the walls. Everything was placed where I wanted and set up. This is the fifth time I've used this company over the past several years. The pricing is very competitive for my area. I have referred them numerous times and will continue to do so. Truly an outstanding company with great crews. Men on the Move deserve the high rating and reputation they enjoy.
