I can't say enough good things about Madera. We worked with Martin for our primary bathroom gut renovation in our 1915 historic home. We removed a shower and requested a drop in tub with a tiled surround, and a somewhat complicated tile pattern on our walls and floors. The attention to detail and overall knowledge of Marty's team was much appreciated. As soon as the bathroom wrapped, we ended up hiring Madera to re-tile our kitchen floors. Marty was always available to answer questions and on time. I highly recommend Madera.

While timely, they never rushed or took shortcuts. My master bath remodel is just gorgeous, exactly what I asked for with a few changes Marty incorporated which made it even more beautiful. Marty and his team did such an amazing job that I would hire him on a heart beat for every home improvement I might need done in the future. In addition to the quality of his work and the outstanding attention to details, he was very ponctuel and kept the project on time and on budget. Marty was very flexible and a good listener especially when it came to asking him for changes that were not in the initial plan. Marty also provided good counsel about products and what makes sense given the structure and layout of our house. Overall, very good experience with Marty and his crew. He showed up when he said he will and when he was here with his team it was work work work no time wasted to get the project done as we initially agreed upon. The job was done to our satisfaction. The bathroom looks stunning. Marty@Madera made sure all the concerns and issues were addressed very promptly. They are a great team to work with. This is my second time using their services, and will continue to use their services in the future.

This was the third project we hired Marty and his crew to complete for us, and they did not disappoint. The job was significantly delayed due to material shortages but was ultimately completed beautifully. Marty was very professional and quickly responded to any issues we had (i.e. when the plumbing work resulted in our radiant heat being non-functional, in January) and worked with us to cover the costs of these unexpected events. His team installed a brand new bathroom including breaking up our floor for the plumbing and also re-did all of the surfaces of our basement (walls, floors, stairs, ceilings, lighting, and closets). They also helped us move our furniture into the space once the job was complete. If another job comes up we will not hesitate to hire Marty and his crew again. They are a pleasure to work with - kind, prompt, professional, and considerate of our space.

Glass tile backsplash was beautifully installed. Installer was professional, conscientious and a perfectionist.

It was a great job, Marty was always accessible and answered all questions. He thought of little extras to improve to utility of the space. He kept us informed EVERY DAY with what was going on and what we can expect.

This is the second time that I have hired Marty for a major renovation. His quality of work is excellent. He sent me to work with EW kitchens for the design. They incorporated my custom requests. The tile work completed is gorgeous. There were several COVID related delays (material shortages) and he worked with me through all of them. He is easy to communicate with and discussed pricing changes with me. His pricing is a little higher, but worth the extra quality and care that I received. Every detail is considered and/or discussed so the final product meets expectations. If I ever need major work done he is the first person I call.

Marty and his lovely team were communicative, tidy, efficient, and considerate. They offered ideas in consideration of my budget without being pushy. They worked hard despite COVID delays to finish as quickly as possible. We ran into issues (like any old home will) and they handled them and minimized cost.

We would not have been able to survive the pandemic if it was for the upgrades Marty and his team created. Madera is a professional, caring and awesome contractor. Marty made the entire process easy as can be with a complete kitchen and master bathroom. Always checking to make sure we were comfortable. Martine is awesome as well. His tile work is outstanding and mesmerizing. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Madera again.

We have a ranch house which is just over 1,100 square feet. There is very little space to expand within the footprint. We contacted several contractors as part of this effort. Previous contractors wanted to design the kitchen the way they saw fit and not listening to what we wanted. Moving walls would have taken out closet space. We also wanted to keep the sliding doors in the back of the house. There seemed to be no contractor up for the challenge of renovating this space. A friend of ours suggested Madera Construction since they had just finished a bathroom renovation and did a great job on it. My wife and I decided to give them a call. We met with Marty and he listed to what we wanted to do in the kitchen. He made suggestions for enhancements to maximize the volume of space used in the kitchen rather than try to knock out walls to make the room larger. This effort doubled the amount of storage space in the room without moving walls. Madera also provided a few voluntary enhancements to the project to enhance the space further. They also spent a great deal of time paying attention to the smallest details of the project. As a result, we now have a kitchen which functions extremely well within the space we have. We can also store all of our small appliances in the kitchen rather than on shelves in the basement. We are very happy with the result of the project and look forward to hiring Madera construction for our next project.

My experience They are very helpful I had another contractor and they took off with or money so it has been very tight on funds to get our job completed They work with me didn’t request payment before job was started. I can’t say how great full we are to have found them. If you need work done I highly recommend them.

The bathroom remodel went well. Marty & his team did a really good job, and were respectful of our house. The team was on time and cleaned up after themselves every day. Marty turned around the quote pretty quickly, and the price was fair. This is our second big job with the Madera building crew, and we would be happy to work with them again. We have recommended them to family, who are also pleased with the outcome of their project.

Everything went great. Even small problems that popped up were taken care of quickly.
