I couldn’t ask for better. John was great in anything we needed. Jim did the work. He was on time everyday and he worked his (you know what) off. Jim did a great job. We are very pleased.

One reason we chose Extraordinary Kitchens was because when Tom came out to estimate our job he made several suggestions to improve the look and function of the final product. It was not hard pressure "up sell" tactics, just "hey, do you want this the same or would you prefer this?" He mentioned several items we would not have thought to include (having never upgraded cabinets) but are super glad we did. Also, even though Tom was in sales he had a good working knowledge of the actual installation process and was able to competently answer several questions that we had. We were amazed at how smoothly the work went. Having heard many "contractor horror stories" and having had a couple of our own projects take longer than estimated, we were not expecting this project to be completed in the one week estimated. They started on a Monday and the ONLY reason it was not finished that Friday was because a few of the cabinet doors from the supplier had flaws in them and had to be reordered. And then the pandemic and subsequent lockdown interrupted completion of the job. As soon as they got the green light to resume work, Extraordinary Kitchens was back on the job. They scheduled installation of the last few cabinet doors as soon as they received them and verified that they had arrived in good condition. John was always reachable and professional, which we always appreciate in hired professionals but is especially appreciated in this very trying year, when so many businesses are working under extra difficult circumstances. The final product is lovely and a huge upgrade to our kitchen.

I am extremely pleased that my kitchen looks so different and gorgeous with just cabinet refacing. Things were held up by the pandemic but the end result was worth the wait. John made sure everything was finished to my satisfaction and it was a pleasure to work with him.

We were torn between 2 companies. We chose Extraordinary Kitchens. We chose the countertop we wanted and they had a contractor install. The cabinets came next which were completely redone. This included redoing our pantry with pull out shelves and different doors. We selected a recessed sink and new faucet, which they also installed including hooking up the plumbing. Next came the back splash. We selected the tile we wanted and they had a contractor install. He did an amazing job. Very meticulous. The cabinet guys were father and son. Very polite, cleaned up after themselves and did an excellent job on the cabinets. The whole kitchen looks completely new and updated. I would hire them again. Excellent job.

Price was competitive, estimator very knowledgeable. Worker was very efficient and careful. Completed job on time despite a few glitches that were the result of our cabinets.

We could not be happier with the job they did. Totally professional, easy to work with, kept us informed throughout the job, and the workmanship was outstanding. Exceeded our expectations and they were the lowest bidder.

They had really good prices. I would tell others that they were nice, they did exactly what I asked them to do, they had a good selection of cabinet faces, tile and granite to choose from. They didn't do electrical so I had to hire a different person to come in and do that for me.

Great. John & Jim gave me some construction tips on how to handle the microwave install with a minimum of effort/disruption & even gave me a contractor to call to walk me thru what had to be done. John also came out within 2 weeks & updated the grout the needed repair, for free. Since work was already long done, they could have not been responsive & been of no help, but, in both instances, John & Jim went above & beyond expectations.

We dealt with James for sales and John for installation. Both gentlemen were very responsive and easy to work with. Their installers did a fabulous job both with the installation work as well as their daily clean-up. The work was completed promptly and we were kept well informed throughout the project's duration.

I did all my research on kitchen refacing companies in metro Detroit and Extraordinary Kitchens kept coming up as the best option for me to go with. I’m a perfectionist. I very particular regarding fit-and-finish and quality workmanship. Once my kitchen project was complete I was totally blown away. Everything from estimate, total cost, accessibility, design, and craftsmanship was conducted in the utmost professional manner. Metro Detroit has about 6 companies that reface kitchens but Extraordinary Kitchens focus much of their attention and experience on this type of work. Beware of companies that do everything. Everything like kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, etc. This company does one thing and are great at it. If you want to reface your kitchen cabinets and save half the cost of a total replace/renovation, no company is better than Extraordinary Kitchens.

Worked with James and John through design phase which was extensive. As we were moving walls it took time to walk through all of our options. Both were helpful with suggestions on what to do in both rooms.  Entire process took about 3 months but much of the time was consumed why other vendors (electrical and flooring etc).

Once project started John was driving it. Was always available to discuss any issues and logistics of work needed. John went out of his way to make our project successful.  We order a customer mantel from an online vendor that turned out to be completely the wrong color. John offered to take it and stain it to match our other custom cabinets. Worked out perfectly.

Work turned out great! Extremely happy with quality of our products and the end result. We had a few minor issue pop up and John handled them without hesitation.  Would highly recommend this company to anyone.

It went great. Love my new kitchen. It looks better than I dreamed it would. Love love love it. One and a half days and it looks like an expensive remodel. Thanks guys!!

Diagnosed the problem. Recommended that we replace the drawer boxes and drawer glides but keep the existing drawer faces that were in good condition. (One OTHER service provider I had met with arrogantly said "no one REPAIRS kitchen drawers" and gave me a quote for $8200 for new base cabinets !) Built custom drawer boxes, installed the drawer boxes and new glides and even replace  some worn baseboard moldings all at a fraction of what the other providers had quoted. Installer was very efficient and professional. We were delighted with the result.

Our experience with Extraordinary Kitchen?s was wonderful
from start to finish.  When I first called
for an appointment they worked with me to come out on a Saturday to give an estimate.  They were professional and on time.  He emailed me an estimate when he said he
would.  After about a month of
deliberation on what company to go with for our remodel.  Extraordinary Kitchens just stood out.  When others didn?t come through on promise
times for getting us an estimate or there pricing seemed off we kept coming
back to them. 
They worked with us on our budget and but didn?t make us
feel like we were skimping.  They
promised us a beautiful kitchen and they delivered.  They gave us a time frame from the ordering
of the cabinets and the installation and they met every deadline.   They
were on time and cleaned up after themselves each day.  They were even reachable after hours with
questions. 
I really can?t say enough good things about our
experience.  We absolutely love our
kitchen and will years to come.

We wanted to upgrade our kitchen cabinets, counters, back splash, along with a new back splash in the bathroom. We received 4 estimates from contractors & decided to go with Extraordinary, mostly because they really listened to what we wanted done & didn't try to upsell us on things we didn't want or need.  James is the sales person we dealt with & he quickly figured out exactly what we were looking for & was able to show us how it would look when it was completed.  He was very low pressure, explained exactly what they could do & how much it would cost. John, the owner, oversaw much of the installation & was at our house 3-4x during the installation process.
We couldn't be happier. The job came in at the same cost as the estimate. Cabinets came in on schedule. The work was done exactly on schedule. John even found someone to finish off the back splash on Memorial Day Friday/Saturday AM, so the work could be done on time. for some visitors we had that weekend.  All of the installers were polite, on time, cleaned up when they were done, etc..& of course, the kitchen looks beautiful. Very happy with the workmanship.
 I would highly recommend using this company for a kitchen remodel.

James and John did a great job! James was very responsive in making a couple of design changes early on and getting me revised elevations and measurements. John was great in getting the construction going, installing all the appliances, finalizing details and taking care of some loose ends. Jeremy's excellent carpenter skills and attention to detail resulted in a beautiful set of cabinets. Flooring was not included but I was able to hire Ioan, their tile guy, to install my new porcelain plank kitchen floor in addition to the backsplash and he did a great job, too! The entire team was great to work with from start to finish. I would not hesitate to hire them again. Had to hire my own electrician for the electrical work.
