Dick's Upholstery Shop

These pieces were done over several years. On the sofa the springs also had to be retied, and the job was excellent. There is an abundance of material books and samples to choose from, and they are very familiar with the products and companies they represent. If you need help choosing fabric they will advise you. This is a small shop and the owners are very friendly. Also they work relatively fast, and the furniture is always done when they say it will be. As for the other pieces, the job was excellent.

I called ahead to make sure they had room to store my love seat before they could start working on it. No problem. I was undecided about what sort of fabric and pattern I wanted. I told Arlene what I wanted to use it for and the other furniture in that room. She has a great sense of design, and seems to know every piece of fabric sample in the shop. What a great help. She showed me many perfect suggestions. When I picked it up, I was very happy with the fabric, and the workmanship is truly excellent (as always).

The cost of the leather was really expensive.  We were told how expensive it was when we first talked with the company.  We decided to go ahead anyway as my husband loved the chair and it matched our sofa.  We had previously looked at new chairs but didn't find anything we liked.  We were so pleased and impressed with their service.  We were on a timeline and they worked within it to get the job done.   When they delivered the chair it looked beautiful.  They did a great job.

Quality was great but we felt it was somewhat over priced. It took a little longer than original time frame quote,but over all we were pleased.

They are just super! They did a wonderful job on some oak chairs that needed new cushions. They are nice people who do very good work. Their prices were fair and the work was done in a timely manner. They have many choices in fabrics, so you don't have any trouble finding what you want.

I had a very good experience with this company. They quoted price and timing and both happened as promised. The work is excellent! I'm very happy with the service I received. I would recommend them to my friends.

Never having had anything upholstered, I was pleased with all the help provided. Going through dozens of books of fabric samples isn't my idea of fun and the people at Dick's were more than patient and helpful aiding me find the fabric I wanted. Their estimates for the time it would take to get the fabric and complete the job were accurate and they kept me informed of the job's progress. The result was a fine piece of workmanship, delivered on time and well worth the price.

I found Dick's on Angie's List after having had no luck with upholsterers in the past. We went down to their terrific shop and Arlene was so helpful with us picking a beautiful fabric. Then, the fabric came in exactly when she said it would, Jim came and picked up the sofa, exactly when he said he would. The work was completed, exactly when they said it would be (even a bit early so they delivered it the day before Thanksgiving!) We couldn't be happier with the work! The were professional, timely, and talented! We can't say enough good things about them. We are telling all our friends. I also gave them two more chairs to do.

My son told me I had to leave their shop because I was "gushing" too much.

WE LOVED THE WORK THIS COMPANY DID ON OUR COUCH. THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY CONSUMER AWARE AND MORE THAN RELIABLE. THEY ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS THAT I HAD AND EVEN DID SOME FOLLOW UPS AND I WAS PLEASED.
