Did not look like a good training approach, and I did not feel safe for my puppy, nor for myself, so left.

I brought my puppy in to Dan's dog training school when she was about 4 months old.
We started off with a basic obedience class: $285.00 for 8 weeks.
IT IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY IF YOU TRAIN YOU DOG THE WAY HE TEACHES YOU!
You really have to put in the work outside of the class. It's amazing to see the transformation that your puppy goes through in the 8 weeks.
Next I decided to take my puppy to the advanced off leash training class: $365 for 16 weeks!
This class is a lot of fun. He challenges you and your dog. By around week 10-12 she was fully obedient off leash while around other dogs.
Since our 16 week finished, we still drop in weekly to advanced dog training for $10.00 per hour/session.
All i can say is that the price is more than fair for the outcome I have gotten from my dog. My puppy is now 16 months old and she the best. I would refer Dan to anyone.

I researched several training classes and after much consideration I decided on Dan's. He seemed very knowledgeable, his ideas made sense, and we had others tell us he was good. I am completely satisfied! I have learned so much. We now have a dog we enjoy being around! He gives us examples of when to use different training techniques. He is really preparing us for many situations we will encounter. The cost may be higher than what you would pay at a box-store, but it's definitely worth it.

I recently had a dog aggression issue arise. Dan came highly recommended. I contacted him, he scheduled the evaluation the following Monday and we started training on Tuesday. Within the first few minutes I noticed a big difference in not just my dog but the others in the class. Dan describes why dogs misbehave and teaches owners how to train great canine citizens.

It went extremely well. There were about eight dogs in the class, and all the dogs did well and all owners were very pleased. In case you didn't already know, the one who learns the most and is trained the most is the owner. It really can't be any other way, but the rewards are there; both the owner and the dog are happier if there is structure in the dog's life and the dog has basic manners. This guy is great and also has a very nice facility. He also trains dogs to a higher level (hand signals), therapy dogs, guard dogs, and more.
