Several things were overlooked so that it passed my new home inspection. After buying, several outlets didn't work. Front porch step was wrong and had to be fixed. Main elec. panel is located 1 ft from sump. Had to be moved at my expense. Electrical panel in garage was wired wrong. Loose wires under sink that were hot. The list goes on but yet he only found a few minor things wrong. He was friends of the realtor and working more for her then us. We had to get all repaired to get up to code. Would never have bought the house if I knew all these things and more were wrong with it. Was a fire waiting to happen. Or injury. Held off on review until all damages were fixed and up to code as more kept showing up.

Arrived early, introduced himself, business card provided, very detailed during the inspection, answered questions I had. After inspection, very basic explaining areas of concerns, how things should be, and repairs that’s needed, and route maintenance to prevent further problems. Appreciated pictures and explanation on his final report.

The inspection process went really well. Mark from ValueCheck was very thorough. He encouraged us to ask questions and provided immediate answers to them. The process was quite painless.

Mark was very prompt in responding to my request for an inspection. He told us what to expect, was prompt, and thorough. Wonderful experience. I would recommend him.

Well, just was hoping for a price break at $200 instead of $250. A quoted house price for inside and outside was $300 total. Otherwise, my evaluation was excellent.

Mark was top notch. He arrived on time and was very informative. I've used him three times now and would gladly use his service's again.

I was upset and stressed that I was requested to obtain this water test by my mortgage company. It should not have been necessary, but it was requested regardless.

When Mark Mustola arrived at my door at the designated time, I was pleased to see his identification and friendly, professional manner.

He quickly performed the test and explained what and why he was doing this.  I appreciated his knowledge and performance and will certainly recommend  him and Value Check to everyone.

I should mention I had placed several other calls at the same time I called Value Check.  All required I leave a message, etc.
Value Check returned my call much sooner than all the others.  Other companies called as long as a week later.

The only thing I can really comment on is this guy is a true professional. His website is very polished, he offers exceptional customer service, and he is very knowledgeable in what he does. He observes things like; grounds, garage, exterior surface and components, roof, structure, attic, basement, electrical, main panel,heating systems, plumbing, and the water heater. He then types it all up in an easy-to-read word doc with pictures and captions for the consumer. The report is two color fonts - black iseema to be "stuff" and the read is the pertinent information. I highlighted all the read and called him - he spent 45 minutes with me going over it.

To conclude, Mark is top notch and I will go back to him time and time again.

Mark deducted some potential structural problems in the crawl space and suggested we have a structural engineer inspect. the crawl space before we finalize the house purchase.  He was right on and we were able to negotiate with the seller to have the repairs deducted from the purchase price.  Saved us a lot of money.  I  would highly recommend Mark if you need a home inspection.
