They scammed me out of my money have been dodging my calls did not fix anything charged me $100 and then they tried charging me even more saying that they were gonna just keep trying parts if that part did not work I do not think their licensed they came up with the website after I had already called thumbtack and made a complete about their legitimacy They know nothing and these guys will scam you out of your money and never answer the phone. They dodged me for weeks after I had paid them even just about the part ordering status because I do not t use genuine parts, but yet still are saying that I owe them even more than $100 when they did not even repair my dryer that I also hired them for at the same day. It was broken broken so if you wanna get ripped off because you are a female or an elderly person or they think you are not gonna do anything about it. Choice Home Warranty assigned Rays Appliance to repair my refrigerator. The claim was approved two months ago. For the first month, Rays Appliance kept saying the parts were on backorder. Then, for the following month, they claimed the parts had been shipped. After that, they stopped responding to Choice Home Warranty entirely. They never communicate directly with the customer, and when they do respond, it is only to Choice Home Warranty with inaccurate information. Ultimately, Choice Home Warranty reassigned the claim to a different vendor. I find Rays Appliance to be unreliable and would not recommend them

Ray of Rays Appliance put a generic (Chinese) belt on my dryer as the other had worn out and because of this, the belt Ray put on, was stripping off and burning on the plate below giving off this horrid stench (smelled like marijuana and we do not smoke weed) which was all through my house and on all of my clothes, towels, sheets from using the dryer Ray supposedly repaired. Called him over and over and they would say, specifically his nephew, **Well call us and well come back out.** My reply, **I am calling now! Tell me when and what time!** His reply, **Well, call us when you are ready.** UGGGHHH!! Had [a different provider] (even the serviceman said it smelled like weed) come out, took pictures and fix. Rays nephew, or so he says, tore up the wiring to my dryer and then put electric tape over which was also burning!!! The serviceman from [the other provider] showed me where this wiring job that Rays nephew had done was burning a hole in cover! He said it was just a matter of time before the dryer caught fire and possibly burn my house down! I am planning on taking him to court, if he does not refund me the $229.00 I paid him. DO NOT HAVE RAYS APPLIANCE OR ANYONE AFFILIATED WITH HIM TOUCH ANYTHING IN YOUR HOME!!!!!!! Would like to post the photos of the damage Rays Appliance did to my dryer but not seeing where I can. Hoping Home Advisor contacts me so I can upload.

They had masks on when they approached the door, which in the current situation with the virus put me at ease. It was great because they had the part with them and were done in under an hour.

Ray was very polite and very responsive. They arrived promptly and patiently let my dogs get comfortable with their presence. Then they finished the dryer repair quickly and the dryer is back to good working condition. Finally, the final cost was very fair and about 25% lower than other appliance repair competitors.

Rays Appliance was great, arrived on time, fixed my issue with my refrigerator very quickly. Price was very fair. 5 stars in my book!! Highly recommend!! I've got his number for any issues in the future!!

Ray called me right away and was able to see me that day. Honest about what needed to be done and pricing was very fair.

Came the next morning and quickly found the problem, went to the appliance store and finished the job in 1.5 hours.

Ray and his assistant were very kind, professional and skilled at quickly identifying and fixing my dishwasher issue. They even indirectly helped me with another household by providing some great advice. I will not hesitate to hire them again if needed in the future.
