QC Construction and Home Improvement

..although they did a decent job on the deck (still hasn't adjusted a couple things we asked him to though)  they have completely screwed us with our doorwall!! On june 23rd Phil tells us that he was ordering the patio door (that will go out to deck)...takes a $1000 deposit... Then he says it will be aprx 4 weeks... Well meanwhile he was working on the deck, then tells us oh the door came in but it was the wrong color, had to reorder it .. So after he finishes the deck and we go to pay him in full for the deck - he says oh i just applied that $1000 deposit for the door toward the deck, you can just pay for the door in full when it comes in and i come to put it in .... Which i thought was very odd !!! ...At that point he was still giiving us the run around about the status of the door!   So after that, for over 2 weeks now he will not return ANY of my phone calls! So yesterday i find the number for the company he supposedly ordered the door from (Alside out of Canton) to explain my problem and find out what the heck is going on ..She tells me that he did call to get a quote from her back on June 23rd, but never ordered it !!! never ordered it!! She said he would have had to put a deposit of 1/2 to order it and the last time they had any money from him was june of 2013!! Why would someone lie like this!! ?? If he didn't want to do it for whatever weird reason why not just tell us!!! So now we have been waiting almost 2 months and We could have hired someone else and had our dang door in by now
