Great. Kevin showed up and evaluated a problem with our refrigerator. He had ordered parts in anticipation of a common problem on that make - LG. He was in a position to sell us an expensive repair but instead recommended we buy a new one. Doesn't get any more honest than that.

NOT WELL. K&D was back at the house on 10 July to say the machine needed another new bearing. Since this time, I have received nothing but a runaround from K&D - the part hasn't come in and they'll call when it does is the best I could get out of them. Today, when they refused to answer my calls, I was forced to call Maytag directly and speak to one of their Customer Relations Leaders. Armed with a full history of dates and times, they agreed that K&D's performance was unsatisfactory and they would resolve the issue.

Very professional work with a great technician that left the area better than he found it. On time and called ahead to make sure somebody knew he was going to be there. The washer was up and running perfect within an hour. The tech even showed and explained the work preformed on the washer and leveled the machine before leaving. I would call and recommend K & D Services again when an occasion has risen. Thank you for your customer service!!!

It took them 5 different trips over a period of a month to finally fix the water / ice dispenser. They arrived every time late, if an appointment time was even given, and seemed to be confused on the problem during many of the visits. After finally replacing all most every related part, the dispenser worked but the refrigerator was running warm (17 degrees above set temp). LG contracted them again to come out and when the owner arrived, he once again was confused on the actual problem. He than became condescending and rude after I started to explain the problem in detail by stating "You won't understand even if I tried to explain it" and at that point, I asked him to leave my home immediately. He left and stated in a quiet voice, do not call me ever again". This is by far the worse repair company I have ever dealt with and highly recommend they beef up on their customer service, punctuality, communication, and the most important of them all, knowing the skill being hired for. LG needs to find another contractor.

They showed up on time, they are a husband wife team and are very nice and professional. The first visit confirmed that the refrigerator was not cooling, he got on the phone with LG tech support and Tech support agreed that the fridge was not cooling. The compressor was making a funny kind of ringing noise but no one seemed to think that was important since the compressor was running. K & D concluded that the refrigerator was low on refrigerant due to a leak probably from the evaporator coil. The refrigerator was a $2300. LG that is only 2 years old. LG sold me that the warranty would only cover the parts and I would be responsible for labor. K & D told me that the labor for the coil would be $500 - $800 dollars and if it turned out to be the compressor that would cost $600. in labor. As an alternative he could install a piecing valve, service the unit with refrigerant and a sealer and hope for the best and that would cost $150. I took the $150. option because putting over $1000 into a refrigerator and still it may not work was not a smart thing a do. My problem with K & D was for a trained tech to run out of viable options and into the "guessing mode" so quickly bothers me. They seemed to talk a good show but didn't produce at all. By the way he serviced the unit with refrigerant, it cooled for about an hour and stopped cooling. The compressor still runs and still make a ringing noise, I gave up on LG and K & D and ordered a new refrigerator!!

HUSBAND AND WIFE TEAM. VERY FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY CLEANED THE WORK AREA AND IT WAS AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE HAVING FRIENDLY REPAIR PEOPLE IN MY HOME.
I WAS TOLD BY MY FRIENDS, THAT I SHOULD BUY A NEW REFRIGERATOR BECAUSE IT WAS NOT FIXABLE. AND AS SOON AS THEY LOOKED AT IT, THEY EXPLAIN ALL THE REASONS IT WAS NOT WORKING AND IN THEIR TRUCK THEY HAD THE PARTS THAT MY ICEMAKER NEEDED.
