We hired Justin to do a new roof for us. He told us everything we wanted to hear, and it did look beautiful..... until it rained. Our roof has leaked a total of 5 times. He did repair the leak over the garage, but has been unsuccessful to repair the leak over our family room. He keeps telling us it this or that. He had us pay to move our exhaust pipe over, because that was the cause....only to find out it was NOT. The leaking has done damage to our ceiling which he refuses to fix. He has lied numerous times to us, then tries the "intimidating" approach. I would NOT recommend. Please read all reviews people. DO NOT RECOMMEND STEVENS HOME BUILDERS

I hired Justin to remodel my kitchen and put siding, facia, and soffit on my garage. He asked for 85% up front and never finished the job he was hired to do, as well he terminated the job without completing it. The floor is completely unlevel, as well it is a floating floor so you have to install the cabinets first, then the floor with a small gap so the floor can "float" freely. So the floor cabinets and flooring have to be taken out, the floor will have to be made level, then all reinstalled properly. Justin installed the whole floor without making it level as well installed the whole floor and cabinets wrong too. They ordered the cabinets over the sink wrong and also installed them upside down with tons of screws, trying to find studs to hang them properly. They glued shelves up in the top of the cabinets to cover all the screws. There was a lot more damage to the cabinets they did to cover up things but stick out like a sore thumb. There will have to be new cabinets ordered, made, and reinstalled. The backsplash they installed for the tile work is the wrong stuff and has to be taken down as well replaced with the proper backboard. We don't know what is under the floor until it is taken up to look underneath and made level. There are also issues with the garage that have to be taken care of also. After telling Justin the job was not right and all that needed to be fixed, he dropped off cabinet lining and some pieces he ordered to replace and drove away after terminating the job. I have been without a kitchen for 1.5 years now and my mental health has been very bad because of all this company did to me and my well being. I don't even have the money to get this fixed because this company took what I had for the job. All i wanted was the job done the right way or a refund on the money he took up front so i can hire someone to fix it and order the new materials needed to repair their damaged materials. I have a ton of pictures but was told not to post them for legal reasons, moving forward. Justin and his friends then attacked my mental health page that helps save lives from suicide and at the same time tried to destroy me mentally and give up because this hurt me so bad, mentally and financially. He also threatened to make me homeless and bankrupt but i didn't think he was serious until this past year after all he did to me and this job. From all the reviews i read, it looks like this has happened to many customers that hired the business as well.

Great! Professional work done timely and courteous. Quality application of ice shield and underlayment. Lifetime shingles look great. I've done roofing before (younger then) and I know they did a quality job.

Unfortunate! Justin seems like a nice guy - but my first warning should have been he hung a cabinet without even grabbing a level. Then he installed a roof on our home and within a week we were losing shingles... and 3 years later we are losing more & realizing they didn't even nail all the shingles down at all - much less use the number of nails recommended for each shingle. He hired some high school boys to do the work and my guess is there was no training and even less supervision. I've tried for over a month to have him out here to look at what is going on to help us determine what the situation is - but he either won't answer or he'l say he'll get with us "next week" - week after week after week - and winter is approaching. I am VERY disappointed!! You'd think in a small town someone like this wouldn't stay in business very long. I've been nice up to this point, polite on every phone call begging him to come show US how to nail them down properly so we don't have to lose any more shingles. But he won't do what is right and I'm done with this type of treatment from someone who took nearly 10K of our money. I'm warning people to stay far, far away from this guy.

Well, here I am 2 years later and Mr. Stevens, although he assured me he guaranteed his work, will not repair the damage he's done to my home.  Since Stevens Home Builders worked on my house, I've had to have my chimney rebuilt because he used no Tyvek when he sided my house,  so the chimney rotted.   My roof leaks.    I am missing shingles, which means I need a new roof (Stevens put my roof on 2 years ago.) I have no drip edge on my roof.   The improperly installed siding on my house also leaks and has gaps where wasps and birds make nests.  Justin promised me over and over again that he'd do the repairs.  After 2 years of promises, I figure he's not going to live up to his promises.  I just wish he'd live up to his word and fix this stuff like he said he would before he got my money.  He replaced my front door and side lights improperly ($2000) which required me to buy yet another door and side lights and have it installed properly.  I wish I could post pictures of the damage.  You'd be appalled.  Maybe he had bad help back then.  That I understand can happen.  What I don't understand is his lack of concern for the reputation of his business when he knows he's wrong.  I understand he's now claiming he has no record of ever doing work on my house.  This flies in the face of invoices from him and cancelled checks written to him.  I'm not in the habit of writing checks for thousands of dollars to complete strangers.

Great, except for some cold weather delays. Showed up when he said he would. Quality construction. We look forward to having him handle projects for us in the future. We would recommend him to our friends, and have done so already!

The short story is I'm suing him because it's costing me tons of money to repair his damage.  BEWARE OF STEVENS HOME BUILDERS!!!!
